I was reading in an article last night that back in 95-96 that Craig was going through some tough times. He Lost the USA against Phil, stormed off stage & he also had drug charges up against him which sent him to jail. The article mentioned that his girlfriend had left him for another guy (fighter - can't remember his name).
Anyways....this article stated how Craig was at a real low point in his life.
I started thinking that if this girl stayed with Craig...she may have ended up just like Kelly.

I knew Denise (I trained at the gym she managed), and I don't think she ever dated Titus. Then again, who knows? But she lived primarily in New Jersey, only briefly in Cali. She is half Italian-half Japanese. I think the guy was trying to describe Debbie Halo, not Denise.
I remember reading what a mack Titus was. MuscleMag would write about his relationship about Debbie Halo, and how that imploded when she ditched him for the boxer Vinnie Pazienza. After that he was supposedly dating April Moore for awhile. Then along came Kelly. I'm sure there were various fintess girls/groupies in the mix too.

Craig had many bitches, like all bodybuilding champs before him. Kelly was his only woman in a long time, though. The sad thing, about this whole mess, is that Kelly seemed to be genuinely in love with Craig. :'(

I remember when Craig dated April Moore...after the breakup with Debbie Halo (who I think is a skank), Craig dated April Moore who he was with for awhile but soon broke up. Craig mentioned in bodybuilding mags that he is tired of women that just date him just to get in the magazines and exposure. I think he was referencing April Moore but didnt actually use her name.
When April Moore was dating Titus, she got exposure in mags and even featured on some magazine covers with Titus.......after they broke up..you never really hear much of her ;)
This shows you that sometimes its not about talent but who you know or better yet, who you do ;)

Yeah..April Moore. She seemed like a real sweetie. Thank God she didn't get messed up with Craig for too long. I spoke to her one time in passing at the 2003 Olympia when I was working the VPX booth. I don't know her but saw her in the bathroom at the Expo and noticed how awesome she looked from the time I saw her the year before. I told her, "Wow! You look fabulous! " and she was grinning ear to ear and seemed very humble.She must have busted her ass that year because when I had first met her at the Arnold Expo the year before-- she was working the Met-rx booth...but looking...well in a bit of "off-season" shape. You are right about the pressures for a fitness gal to constantly be in perfect form. It's very draining...very pressing on the psyche. I am glad April didn't get "sucked" in like so many and got a second chance with the love of her life!!! ;D

I believe when April came out here she was seperated from her hubby which technically made her single? And knowing how charming Craig was with the ladies back then I am sure he pursued April and not the other way around! Craig dated all the hotties back then.
I doubt April had to ride anyone's coat-tails (Craig included) to get into the mags. She more than qualified on her own. Her MD layout was super HOT!

I think Jerryme meant well with his question and it's always going to be flattering to know you inspire someone out there.
Competing was great fun (a lot of discipline) but i was at the point where i would need to really step up (supplement wise) to get to the next level. The risk-to-financial-reward ratio kinda led me to retire from competition. It saddens me to see that the Professional sport is not growing and actually seems to be dwindling.

I get inspired/motivated when I see my peers/inspirations compete or workout. It just makes me want to be the best I can for me and attain a great physique because I was inspired by someone. Ive seen Grant's pictures through magazines and I was highly motivated and inspired
I can understand where you are coming from, Grant. But its good to see that you are still training and still into the sport.
There is so much we can learn from you. I am looking forward to it.
