Or is it just hard when you, being a neurotic, compulsive "bodybuilder", have nothing going on in your life, and sit at home all day (with a well-stocked refrigerator) thinking about food?
???

You are right that if you just sit at home thinking about food it is very hard. Best to stay busy and keep your mind on other things.
It is hard because if you have a social life there is always good involved, usually junk.

I have no problem dieting and eating clean.
I have no problem working out... ever. Been doing this for thirty years.
I do have a problem with cardio...
One day I will have to do it for my health. One day soon.
As for now? 9% body fat is cool with me. The last time I did anything that resembled cardio was when I was a competitive swimmer. I came into bodybuilding with a nice edge. That, and I'm only 5'6" ~
