Sylvia Browne was an American author who described herself as a psychic and spiritual medium. She appeared regularly on television and radio, including the shows The Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live.
The so-called psychic who claimed that Shawn Hornbeck was dead.

In 2002: Browne told the parents of 11-year-old Shawn Hornbeck, who had disappeared earlier that year, that Shawn was dead and had been kidnapped by a dark-skinned man with dreadlocks. Hornbeck was found alive in 2007; his kidnapper was Caucasian and short-haired. >:(
In November 2004, to the mother of kidnapping victim Amanda Berry, who had disappeared 19 months earlier: "She's not alive, honey." Browne also said she had a vision of Berry's jacket in the garbage with "DNA on it." Berry's mother died two years later. Berry was found alive in May 2013. >:(
On Larry King Live, Browne predicted she would die at the age of 88, but she died at age 77. :D ;D

so psychic ability is the various degrees of how active a pineal is together with the particular affinities of that person (some have rythm, some are good at drawing, etc)
If you would practice and practice you would get better at it and more "accurate".

In all probability, there is no such thing as psychic ability. If you had a job interview tomorrow and you prophesied you got the job, that would not be psychic ability but chance based on probability. Desperation and pressure to solve a case. Some cops might be dumb enough to believe in her psychic crap. Other don't buy it but figure, what can it hurt. I'm a bit of a crime buff and these are the common reasons given bt law enforcement for consulting a psychic. More often than not, psychics are turned away by law enforcement because they are pests who make their jobs more difficult

Dude, there's a lot of people out there who go to fortune tellers all the time. I see it on facebook every fucking day. It's always women too, they're more susceptible to it. Same as hypnotism. I just filmed a TV show which will air next year and I had to pretend to be hypnotized. I'm featured quite heavily in the show and he attempted hypnotism a few times on me (I played along each time). The only people who really "seemed" hypnotised in the crew were a few women. He had them drinking water thinking it was vodka and they said to me they had no recollection of it.
There's a LOT of stupid people in the world...very gullible. If you've got charisma and can cold read well you can convince (a lot of whom want to believe anyway) people that you can talk to their deceased loved ones...

If you actually take the time to think about it, it's not that hard to follow the money.
In cases such as this psychic and the usual suspects (i.e., false ministers, imams, rabbis and the like) it's obvious that the route is very short.
From your wallet to theirs.
Test them. Make them prove their "gift" before ever giving yours.
In all cases of donations and the like, the first thing you need to pay is close attention.

In the case of Popoff and others of his ilk (and there are many), it is obvious that they would rather prey upon than pray for, people in need.
People are desperate and such as Popoff are despicable. I no longer attend church. Why? I have faith in God but none in men of the so-called, "cloth". I have no problem confronting a pastor and asking questions such as, "What kind of car do you have and how did you buy it?" Or..."The Apostles worked for their living being fishermen, tent makers, carpenters and the like. Only asking for subsistence when they truly needed it but always making their own way. What do you do for yours?".
Such questions have never sat well with what passes for a pastor these days. As Christ said, the people have eyes but cannot see. To truly be blind is one thing and to be stupid is quite another.
Again, faith in Christ? Yes! Faith in men? Not so much. Especially "holy" men or for that matter, women.
