Title: Old school razors

Anyone shave with classic safety razors. Personally into the Edwin Jaggers myself. Discuss your experiences, what blades do you prefer.....

I use a straight razor like a real man.

They work better actually much less irritation.

I use a highly sharpened piece of rhyolite from an ancient dry creek bed that used to house a Saponi village.

I use a Merkur safety razor with a badger brush and taylor of old bondstreet shaving creme. As of late though wet shaving can be time consuming and now i only do it if I have time. Ive found that using trimmers to knock down a couple days growth and then finishing up with a foil shaver can give a damn near razor like smooth shave.

I use a piece of broken glass to shave and "lather up" each morning with used engine oil.

I just crack a coconut shell and use the edge....dry.
