I usually heat up oil before injecting it by lightly wrapping a hot cloth around a preloaded syringe barrel. However, when I heat it up lately after inject I've noticed a red area appear at the site that sometimes lasts as little as 5 hours to as long as 5 days.
So my question is do you think it's because the BA and oil are dispersing out of the muscle and getting into subcutaneous layers (I don't do the z track method) or
Does heating up (maybe too hot) cause some of the solvents to become more permeable?
Yes, it's prop but I don't get redness.
Drives me nuts because I start worrying about infection.

Interesting.....why do you choose to heat it?

you trolling bro?

A lot of people do, less pip and it comes out of the needle quicker. Don`t know about the red spot it leaves though :-\

Yeah, what OTH said. The heat reduces the viscosity and makes it so much easier.
Yeah, I don't know about the redness either. There is no EO in the product so I shouldn't be having an allergic reaction. I'll have to go back to not heating the oil up I suppose.

A heating pad at low level works

My girl massages my bums with hot oil
:P

I've heated my gear once before I pinned, didn't feel much of a difference once the gear was in, but I noticed it was much easier to push down the plunger (as OTH and youandme talked about reducing viscosity). Never had any red spots or marks.

fixed lol

not a bad idea. Atleast i got a girl to do that ;)
;D

I've heated an oil too high and as I pushed down the plunger melted and shit started coming out both ends. Didn't help that the needle was way too thin...I hate slin pins I don't know how some of you guys use that shit.

x2. Cannot get the oil to pass through the slin pin.

ive used 26g. Takes time.
-
I use 25, never had a problem with it, goes through nicely though a bit slow especially when its 3ccs at a time.
-
;D Grow a pair fellas, start using 22 or 23g for all shots. Never had a problem with 22/23g, no need to heat or do anything with oil. I've tried 25g once in the shoulders, it's plain annoying and time consuming.

22g?! Why not just use a turkey baster ???

I'll have to try 23g out once I run out of my box of 25g. I bought a box of 100, so I've got quite a few left to go lol!
How does 23g feel when pinning quads? I could see it being alright for glutes, but quads are more sensitive.

How big is the red area? What length of needle and how thick is the fat/skin at your injection spot?
Kinda sounds like the result of sub-q oil. (I've had this happen when using 1/2" slin pins and not making sure that the needle is perpendicular enough on shoulder shots.)
I doubt if heating the oil has much to do with it but you could always check by doing everything the same except using, say, enanthate instead of prop.

1cc at a time?
For those of us using only 2CCs a week, you can't beat it

Another thing I don't like about the slin pins is that they don't penetrate as deep into the muscle and oil buildup/swelling is more likely to be noticeable for me. It just doesn't seem worth the extra effort of pushing down on the syringe for a longer time just to avoid a bit less injection pain. But I do wonder how much less scar tissue build up a smaller gauge needle would actually cause....

It's gone now thankfully.
The areas would be about 1x1 inch at the site of injection.
IM with 25g 1.5 inch, 3ml inject at a time, which I think is seeping out of the muscle.
I think you're right, on the sub-q, that's why I'm going to start using the z-track method.

Z-track is by far the best way to pin large doses. When I learned to do it properly I never went back to the regular way, no leakage and no post-inj bleeding.
If you've never done it before make sure not not release the skin once you've tightened it and pushed the needle in, the needle will move with the skin and hurt like a bitch!

you should try the pellet implant gun. They make finaplix-h pellets 100mg tren very cheap too.

i shoot up my gear in the parking lot, safe from family
problem is i gota quickly on the light to aspirate and then off it again to inject
so ppl wont walk by and wonder why is there a dude with his pants down shooting a syringe up his leg

Haha I've pinned my shoulder in the parking lot once. Was very awkward making eye contact with an old lady walking to her car as I pushed the plunger down...
