Title: Paul Walker - A True Good Guy
Post by: Kwon_2 on December 09, 2013, 07:58:32 AM
Paul Walker Secretly Paid For Engagement Ring That Iraq Veteran Couldn’t Afford

As Walker checked out the jewelry, a soldier who had just returned from his first tour of duty in Iraq was also there looking at engagement rings with his fiancee.

“She saw something that she really, really liked, but he said, ‘Honey, I can’t afford that,’” King recalled.

What the woman looked at was a $10,000 engagement set, King noted.

Paul Walker also heard the couple, and quietly got the attention of a store manager.

“He called the manager and he said, ‘Umm, the ring that those people are looking at – put it on my tab,’” King remembered. “Soon after that, he just left.”

When the couple asked who had picked up the tab, the store told them it was an anonymous gift.

Walker never stepped forward to take credit and didn’t need to be thanked for his act, but King said she wanted people to know what he was truly like.

There's a Discovery channel documentary with him and Great white Sharks. They trick the sharks into swimming over this hoist deal and then they lift them up and he's in there doing it all. This guy dies during a charity event and Lindsey Lohan is still rolling along.

There is only so much you can do as a passenger. Police have confirmed that they were going 90+ an hour. What can you do as a passenger? Scream at him to slow down? Grab the wheel? Jump out of the car?

Bottom line: Paul Walker's friend killed Paul Walker.

Walker was an innocent casualty.

Unfortunately we can't say the same for most GB'ers when they bite the bullet.

We can most definitely say that "Devon97" possesses a limited intellect and as such, invests himself in hare-brained, antiquated insurance schemes, in the hope that his mediocrity will be thusly rendered moot, when he finally ascends to the pearly gates to take his place next to his vengeful, spiteful god, who demands to be surrounded and loved by only the unthinking and illogical.

Oh Brother. Paul Walker a self confessed reckless driver himself, chose to be a passenger with another known reckless driver in an overpowered sports car to 'go for a spin' , a drive to nowhere, and assumed the driver would stick to the speed limit.  Not everybody is as gullible to think such a thing.  For starters, I would NEVER be a passenger in a overpowered vehicle to 'go for a spin', secondly, if I found myself in a situation where somebody was driving recklessly by all means I would yell at the driver to let me out of the vehicle. Thirdly, Paul Walker promoted and encouraged that sort of driving in his own movies, he had NO ISSUE with such behaviour, even a few days before he died his father told him to stop taking unnecessary risks.

Paul Walker knew exactly what was meant when he was asked to 'go for a spin' in his friends high powered sports car.  He embraced the whole reckless driving philosophy, he profited from it in fact, and he died at the hands of someone who also shared a love of that philosophy.  Paul Walker was the victim of his own reckless attitude towards life, I am surprised he made it to 40.  Sadly, Paul's glorification of such reckless behaviour in his movies will continue to be complicit in innocent people being seriously injured and killed by Fast and Furious fanboys.  Paul Walker is far from INNOCENT!

It didn't take fast and furious or Paul walker to glorify street racing like u said , street racing and fast cars have been going on waaaay before them

U do not understand cars or the car culture , yes there are idiots who race illegally and kill themselves but the car culture as a scene is not like that , u have been watching too many movies

I suggest u STFU if u don't know shit about cars and what that scene is about and what it truly represents

Everyone drifts 5 or 10 mph over the limit at times.  If you're going 20 mph over, you are well aware you're speeding and just take the risk for a ticket.

if you're going 50 or 60 mph over the speed limit, you are knowingly risking your own life - which is cool.  But you're also risking the lives of others if you're doing it on a public road.  At 90 mph on a 45, you aren't going to be able to react to someone coming out of a side street or a kid running into the road.  At 45mph, you can dodge just about anything.

Walker did some nice charity stuff, but he endangered lives all the time when he did this on public roads.  You're a millionaire... go to the track and go 200 mph to your heart's content, that's awesome.  Doing it on a public road is selfish.

I dont stress the role model stuff... i mean, lots of guys play movie roles, gangsters, hitmen, bank robbers, etc... I don't blame them when a kid robs a bank.

I do stress the dangerous driving on public roads.  You don't own the road, Mr Walker.  Someone could have been standing on that sidewalk walking their dog and you would have ended their life, just like that, because you wanted to have some fun.

I suggest you go fuck yourself.  I never liked the 'HOON CULTURE' before idiots like Paul Walker started to glorify it.  The 'CAR CULTURE' as you call it is full of overgrown children with the maturity of a 12 year old.  The types of people who feel better about themselves by identifying with something perceived to be masculine or powerful.  We all know such people have deep insecurity issues, unfortunately, their anti social behaviour harms and kills innocent people.  I wouldn't give a rat's arse if they were just killing themselves, I would be appreciative of that, but they kill innocent people, and anybody who glorifies that deserves to die in a horrific and violent car crash resulting in burning to death.

PS: I actually rarely watch movies ! Maybe once every 6 months.

Haha pretty much sums up what u know, which is NOTHING! Nice generalization

I grew up with very fast cars, my dad tracks them when he can, I've never raced on public roads nor drive triple the speed limit

Your generalization of people and their hobby with cars is comical , same way they probably look at a 40 yr old man who follows men in thongs and injects illegal drugs in their body I guess ;D

Your argument has no substance, just baseless attacks on something u have absolutely no clue about, only what u see on tv

STFU

dude irrationally hates and fears anyone and anything that has the potential to cause him injury/death/humiliation.

I think the reason is the pitbull attack. ... its scarred his psyche, he believes if there were no pits hed never have had his life taken so now he campaigns against anything that could possibly recreate that situation with himself, because hes so terrified of feeling like that again.
