Ok that gave me a chuckle Wiggs! :D  I grew up in Boston, started out my career in NY and after moving to New Hampshire I noticed very few Hebrews.  It's around 1.4%.

I traveled a lot and when I would arrive in Atlanta it became a culture shock.  ;)

Love the dandenong mountains.  Used to live in Bayswater for 6 months and then moved closer to the city for the remaining 7.5 years, while there.  But always visited the Dandenongs on a regular basis.

It's pretty close to the coast (maybe 150 miles away at most). Typical for Romania. I was born here so it's special in that way. I also lived in Michigan for many years, Vermont and Geneva(Switzerland).

Vermont was another world in 1997-2001 .. just beautiful and the people were great. At least this was my experience. US can have places that are vastly different right next to each other.

My friend you need to escape back to the USA. Consider NH, no sales or income tax and safe full of suppressed full-auto.

You got that right, mang.  NY is by far the most vile repulsive state in the union.  If it is even still considered a free state at all.  I live in the county that has literally the highest taxes in the entire country!!  SAFE ACT, taxes, shit weather, miserable people, etc.  I need to start applying for positions at universities in actual AMERICAN states.

I heard they have some good Maple Syrup for pancakes they drain it out the trees. Never been there but been to about all the rest. NC overall is about the best mountains one end coast the other end. Cali is good but have those damn earthquakes.

So why did you go back to Romania?
It's just where life took me at that time. I did not plan and still don't.

It really isn't that bad. I am paying about 12k/year for the 5 acres my primary house is on. I paid a shitload more per acre when I lived in that commie shithole MA.

My offices at 120k each under a grand.....about right on retail

And 60 acres with a land conservation easement on 30 acres runs 2k

hey man this is beautiful, respect for the achievement, it doesnt get better than that.the roofed car garage, size etc, perfect.no near neighbors, perfection.

ofc the villas of the 1% and the castles are "better", but for realistic, achieveable middleclass ppl ,this is as good as it gets, anything more is too much to maintain anyway.

i live in a communist kind block building made a century ago haha

Exactly.  This city had Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb, Genesee Brewing, a major university........and idiotic liberal criminals RUINED the entire thing.  It was a goldmine back in the day.  Now we are just a little better than Detroit.  Oooooffaaa, Detroit....talk about a toilet. :o :o :o :o

I know I would.  I think you can have too much of a good thing and take it for granted.  I take the beaches and hot hot weather for granted now.  I am so over it.  Well just the summers....never the beach.  But only in winter do I want to go to the beach, its 21 degrees celusis and that's all I want and need.

The taxes are the highest in the entire country where i live!!  That pretty much explains everything.  You just cannot make it here.  The weather sucks on top of that.  People come here to go to universities or for business and then RUN THE FUCK AWAY.  Sad too because my father tells me how great it was here in the 50's and 60's and then all the idiotic policies from Albany just ruined this entire state.
