Holy shit... Fedor did way better than anyone probably expected of him. Sapp has so much haw strength that I figured he'd just bully Fedor... Dude is a strong mofo for sure.

Gary Goodridge even started training with Coleman for a while back in 2000 through 2004. Mark Coleman said that Gary Goodridge's sister HATED him for a LONG time after their fight back in UFC 10 (summer 1996). Gary did not hold a grudge that Mark won..... But Gary's sister did-- For many years!

This was my exact reaction. Fedor held his own for a bit. I also came away thinking how superior Japanese shows are to those in the states. One of my regrets is not seeing a Pride show while I lived in Japan.

To be fair, he got a bad staph infection that bore holes through his entire body. I'm surprised he even lived. Worst example of all PEDs (not that I dispute all PEDs).

Team Hammer used to bathe in PEDs. I wouldn't be surprised if they injected with turkey basters and shot entire vials in one go. Multi-use vials? Yeah right, not for their fight camp!!
Randleman strangely had some decent cardio though. Lots of the other players like Coleman would gas after 6 or 7 punches.

Eassssily could have died. I was waiting to see an article stating that he had passed. I was amazed that he lived.
Bad staph infections smell putrid. The only worst smell I've encountered was a GI bleed. I was visiting the ER to pick up a friend, bumped into my mom and chatted for a moment and she started jumping around warning me about a patient coming in. I didn't see anyone in the halls but smelled the worst smell in my life. Nothing tops a GI bleed. It had tenured ER doctors and nurses weak in the knees. I have a strong stomach but I barely made it out of there without puking. Eyes were watering, nose was wet and I was salivating like crazy. :-X

I never got into training MMA but a lot of my friends do and said to come down to the club. I was going to join just got something to do outside of bodybuilding, then there was a staph outbreak. Nope. Fuck that shit. I'll just throw hands at the punching bag in my garage for some staph-free cardio. Those dudes are pretty sanitary but it just takes one dude to infect the whole gym. :-\

incase you never been to a mma gym those mats they roll on are not exactly always the most sanitise things.

It can range from a rash to gaping holes.
My buds all have a good circle at the local MMA club and I was right about to join. They were telling me about how cleanly it was, then their first staph infection broke out. I can't afford to have one of them dislocate my shoulder welcoming me to their gym, let alone a staph infection. It's almost impossible to avoid.

I know the strains have seemed to have gotten worse over the years! Need a very strong treatment of antibiotics for a long time to treat it!
