Hypothetically, only 1 bodybuilder could come back and make a one last effort for a comeback. I mean go full out (like 1 year of prepping). We know they will never be as good as they were in their prime, but just to see what they could do one last time out (BALLS TO THE WALL). Let's restrict it to guys in their low 50's and less. Can't be pulling out guys from the late 70's/early 80's (not realistic).

I'll provide the list. You choose the one you want:

 Kevin Levrone
 Ronnie Coleman
 Dorian Yates
 Flex Wheeler
 Paul Dillett
 Shawn Ray
 Lee Haney
 Chris Cormier
 Mike Francois
 Rich Gaspari
 Lee Labrada
 Lee Priest
 Jean Pierre Fux
 Mike Christian
 Milos Sarcev
 Porter Cottrell
 Mike Matarazzo
 Tom Prince
 Charles Clairmonte
 Craig Titus
 Markus Ruhl
 Gunter Schlierkamp
 Darrem Charles
 Roland Cziurlok
 Claude Groulx
 Milos Sarcev
 Berry de Mey
 Vince Taylor
 Dennis James
 Melvin Anthony
 Orville Burke

Did you miss Arnold or was that on a purpose?

-
				Big Cypriate

Did you read my post? I clearly outlined the guidelines (early 50's and less). Arnold is in his late 60's.
-
I want to see Yates then.
If you decide to add an under 70 class in the future, I want Arnold and Lou and Franco.

 ;D

Lou already showed what he can do in 1992-1994, weighing in at 327 pounds, with calf implants and a huge GH gut. Arnold's body is in bad shape. He's much shorter (compressed) than he used to be and his body doesn't look like it would react to weights or drugs. Franco was never good (imo).

Guys I'd like to see come back from that era would be Frank Zane, Tom Platz, Bertil Fox, Casey Viator, Boyer Coe, Sammir Bannout, Danny Padilla.
-
				Hazbin

-
Why didn't Derek Anthony make the list? Would be the best come back of all time.

-
Markus, Gunter, Matarazzo.  And not on the list but Bob Paris. Need him to come back to ruin his flawless physique with gh and insulin.  ;D

-
Eugene Sandow to dominate mens physique

-
				Matt Mendenhall on today's dosages.

 He can still do masters...
-
Lee Labrada still stays in shape and looks pretty close to his glory days:

The only thing I'd like to see out of this "sport" right now is toning down the physiques. I mean the Women's bodybuilding is just about done despite Iris winning her 9th. Men's physique is popular and year in review last year bodybuilding sucked. The Arnold was weak as fuck as Arnold even complained about the guts. Phil looked good, Kai was too big, But there's nothing Olympian about these guys physiques outside of the size and now we're starting to see the bodies. It should be toned down to late 80s early 90s level. It's out of control. It wont happen but it's the truth.

Spot on analysis of men in thongs. I agree 100%.
-
				Kevin...all the way

-
				Matt Mendenhall on today's dosages.

Damn, how could I have forgotten Matt and also Rory Leidelmeyer.

Never fails to crack me up  ;D
-
				Kevin...all the way

That would be my pick too.
-
Richard Jones, who is not on the list.
Brian Buchanan, Melvin Anthony, Mike Francois, Chris Cook, Aaron Maddron.
-
				Titus
 Munzer
 Ray McNeil
 Bertil Fox
 D.A.
 Mike Mentzer
 Ray Mentzer
 Don Ross

In all seriousness, Shawn, Flex and Kevin would be interesting...

-
				Frank Zane.

-
				Titus
 Munzer
 Ray McNeil
 Bertil Fox
 D.A.
 Mike Mentzer
 Ray Mentzer
 Don Ross

Titus had one of the worst chests of all time...the only comeback he could make would be King of the Vegas Afterparties.

-
Richard Jones, who is not on the list.
Brian Buchanan, Melvin Anthony, Mike Francois, Chris Cook, Aaron Maddron.

RJ was supposed to do the 212 class at the Arnold this year, didn't see his name on there
-
I'm sure if Bertil Fox got early release he could be killer again in no time.

-
Titus had one of the worst chests of all time...the only comeback he could make would be King of the Vegas Afterparties.

Titus and Bertil only ones living on the list why are they in lock down?
-

Casey wouldn't do well. The rigor mortis doesn't help much in the gym.
-
Richard Jones, who is not on the list.
Brian Buchanan, Melvin Anthony, Mike Francois, Chris Cook, Aaron Maddron.

Everyone except Chris Cook.....nothing personal of course, but he was all hype and not much else except for a big guy....no real quality to his build.

 Just my opinion.
-
Eddie Moyzan.  Had never shown what he was really capable of.

-
I'll go with Phil Hernon. Dude was a freak back in the day. Never really understood how he didn't do better.

-
				Mendenhall and Fletcher.

Also, a guy from my area, Ken Castagnoli.
-
				Chris Cormier

-
Titus had one of the worst chests of all time...the only comeback he could make would be King of the Vegas Afterparties.

Imo, Flex Wheeler had no chest to speak of either.
-

Good call.  Great lines, proportions and size.

There's a video of him oiling Bob Chick-- :D -- at a show, and Phil just DWARFS him.  Could have gone far
