Yep....i would say these crossfitters are just plain DUMB...prayers to this guy, its awesome to push beyond your limits but you must know where your limit is. This is crossfits main problem, these trainers DONT KNOW LIMITS... ???

crossfitters think barbell sports & gymnastics are a fucking game but don't have a clue of what they are doing
We will not stop snatching. We will not stop CrossFitting. We will not stop doing what we do. It makes us better human beings. Nothing in life comes without risk. For every action there is a consequence. We might die in a CrossFit workout
I think that speaks volumes, brainwashed idiots with no purpose other than serve the cult.
Yep! Look I am all about trying to best yourself in the offseason with 2 rep max on the big 3 lifts, but trying to train like this YEAR round is just stupid and you're asking for an injury. Crossfit's main problem is they don't understand you can't PR every workout, there will be days you will get 1 less hour of sleep, miss a meal, have an issue that has you stressed out....they don't take these things into consideration. We all know training can't be consistent for a person with a family and things on the outside.

very true Akers...there is more to life than just working out.. stress is real and as you wrote lack of sleep and other factors come in to it. some of the stuff will get you fit but the loose form some use when tired is asking for Trouble.

Yep...seen it too many times, have had it happen to myself, get to the gym and just having missed lunch for a long corp meeting...its amazing how 100 less carbs and X amount of protien can completely change a workout around.

"We live in a dangerous world. In our training, we do dangerous things daily – whether it’s throwing heavy barbells over our heads or swinging from pull-up bars and rings. I want you all to recognize and respect the tools that we work with in the gym. We use them to make us strong, but they can also do great hurt. We cannot eliminate all danger or injury. To do so would be to deny the human condition. What we can do is take advantage of each and every day we are given – in the way that it is given to us."
Wow. What a maroon. ::)
