Six sandows vs Zero (competing in the same era)......not much to debate here.

A Sandow won't make someone a better bodybuilder, but yeah, I'm Team Doz as well.

Flex had a very aesthetically pleasing physique and photographed well.

Dorian Just had to be seen in real life to understand how good he was.

Dorian & Flex = Man & Boy.

Flex's lat's too big for chest? One of the knocks on Flex was that his lats were not all that. Kamali had said that when Flex did an ab-thigh pose his lats disappeared.
And Flex looked almost as tall as Dorian when they stood side by side.

Like Zane, Flex Wheeler was one of a kind, as was Dorian... and Ronnie Coleman.

Now, in today's line-up?

I could NEVER and will NEVER say Jay was "one of a kind" ~ sorry. Pretty arrogant these days also. Got that I, I, I, me, me, me attitude... just watch any of his "documentary" type videos on Youtube. Who is his favorite bodybuilder? HIMSELF! Wow!

I might say Flex Lewis is in the "one-of-a-kind" category, but there aren't that many out-standing physiques out there these days.

Large? Yes.

But!

Back in "the day" you could actually tell "who was who" just by a silhouette.

Today? NO WAY!!!

Haters be hatin' fo sho, I'm just tellin it like I see it. Really scratchin' my head to think of someone who is going to be "memorable" in the same way that these guys were...

I'd rather look like Flex any day but there's  no denying Dorian's dominance. Had Flex come in great conditioning consistently, totally different story to wasn't that Flex couldn't win, he didn't have the mindset to do it consistently which certainly cost him in his place in bodybuilding history.

Up until the Brit tore his bicep I'd say Dorian (when posing he was miles ahead).

The biggest WTF was Paul Dillet though: When just standing there you couldn't help but think that he was the winner hands down, yet, when posing, he would inexplicably and gradually dissipate in thin air. Same with Flex, when standing there you couldn't but be in awe of his symmetry, yet when compared to others... he sometimes lost. I mean, I remember when Wheeler lost to Francois at the Arnold... he pissed and moaned and bitched to no end, yet, if you see the pictures, Mike handed his ass back to him.
