“Ted Nugent’s derogatory description of President Obama is offensive and has no place in politics. He should apologize,” the Kentucky Republican tweeted Thursday night.
Paul isn’t the only potential Republican presidential candidate to speak out about Nugent’s comments.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told CNN he disagreed with Nugent’s language but also didn’t rule out campaigning with him in the future.
“You’ve never heard me say such a thing and nor would I,” Cruz said. “I will note, there are reasons Ted Nugent - people listen to him, which is that he has been fighting passionately for Second Amendment rights.”
Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer he has a “problem with” the rocker’s strong language about the president.
“I got a problem calling the president a mongrel. … I do have a problem with that. That is an inappropriate thing to say,” he said.
Nugent has thrown his support behind Greg Abbott to succeed Perry as governor. The Republican would likely face Democrat Wendy Davis in the general election.

Just saying Ted Nugent can say whatever he wants and it might not be beneficial for Rand to even acknowledge it.

He is only saying what 99% of us Getbiggers think. Obama is the antithesis of American. He is an avowed communist who caters to non-working and lazy to get his agenda passed. Unfortunately, Americans have gotten so lazy or ignorant that they voted for this clown in 2012. The continued degradation of
America with more welfare, entitlement, and laziness. Sad to be an American nowadays. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Tell me more about how you're a machine in Chicago. Are you a consultant or specialized worker of some sort?
sounds like they import you for your expertise or knowledge of the inner workings of your industry
just curious

I'm a machine wherever I am. Yes I am a consultant spreading his knowledge wherever it is needed. Mon pied-d'à-terre varies depending where I'm needed. I'm in America until April so flying back and forward to our west coast home. What is your question again?

The industry you work in. I was assuming IT based on your thread the other day. Perhaps management consultancy?

That's nothing compared to what the left has said about Bush, Palin and anyone else on the right. Fuck Obama.

Technically they also started two wars that the country couldn't afford, and mortgaged payments on the staggering $15 trillion debt in so doing
but yeah, Obama's no saint
though he has attempted to forcefeed the American people a minimum standard most countries in the West take for granted, namely affordable health care
something apparently they don't want
guess being uninsured and getting a $10K hospital bill is better
all part the American psyche I guess, independence of any outside help seems to be an inalienable ethos branded into their brains

The irony... I remember being in San Francisco when GWB was re-elected in 2004. Weak minded San franciscans were literally crying and threatening to move to Canada. The viciousness of the conformity enforcement from the left is destroying this great Republic. Don't let them do it.

We can afford the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan easily, and the stratigraphic positioning in the region is well worth it. Although if it were up to me we wouldn't play world police while Canadians and Europeans sit back and reap the benefits (at our expense) while complaining like little girls.
As far as healthcare goes, he's clearly made the situation worse as predicted.

Obama surpassed all of those numbers in his first term. $8Trillion in 8 years compared to an additional $9 trillion with in 6 years with three years to go. We're fucked.

I never thought I would say it, but I miss George and Dick.

If they can afford the wars, why did they almost default on the debt ceiling 5 months ago?
why is social security going to run out in about 30 years?
why are half the government service office wickets closed leading to endless lineups for basic things like welfare payments?
lol
america's broke
china and japan own its debt in bonds

I don't think you realize what "default" means in the context. It wasn't that we couldn't pay, big government is holding us hostage, and the debt ceiling was a bargaining tool to try and cut spending.
Social security was a ponzi scheme from the very beginning, it could never sustain itself and should have never been passed.
The US deficit is decreasing, although I agree that it isn't good enough. We need massive cuts, the Federal Government is way to big.

It's not dropping at all. It's set to rise astronomically in the next 10 years.

The country's had deficits for all but 4 years since 1970. Feel free to look that up. That doesn't reduce debt at all, and is therefore a nonsequitur.

it's been shrinking and expanding for 40 years, genius
that doesn't mean it isn't going to stay in the red, unless it's completely balanced
a balanced budget hasn't existed in decades
wake up and smell reality

It decreased from what Obama spent in his first 4 years.
So we should thank him for spending $1 trillion a year and bringing that now to $600 billion a year?
At 500 to 600 billion a year, he is still spending more annually than any other president.
And now he has proposed another spending plan that will another $56 billion to the deficit.

i find the following much more offensive than Ted Nugents free speech

And lets not forget the following greatness from MSNBC which the no democrat elected official felt the need to apologize over

Oh and Obama's mentor he never said anything offensive.

Pre-Election:
Obama is a Messiah of Hope and Change, the most charismatic man since Jesus Christ.
Post-Election:
The most inefficient Manager this country has ever seen, bullies his way, promotes spying on its citizens, stages getting Osama (and takes the credit). Most uncharismatic Quadroon even seen.

Post-Election:

Because:
Pre-Election: Can say and promise whatever one wants
Post-Election: Has to try to pass legislation (blood) through a clogged artery (congress) and kowtow to the corporations that own it (life support). It's a miracle he's even done what he did, good or bad. Trying to manage the US is like trying to do backstrokes in mud.
