How come scientist cant come up with a supplement that gives you results similar to steroids are they spending money researching this, because you would be a billionaire overnight if you could invent such a product.

well if you look into how "many" useful things were invented over the last 1000years,since the baby steps of medicine, and the balonie the ppl believed in the midle ages, and the aproval processes, it bring one down to earth again.
very few real breakthroughs like pollo vaccine(groink urgently needs this) etc.

steroid research basically stopped 40 years ago
apart from at elite olympic level
where they arent concentrating on anything other than making them undetectable

well yeah.the history goes something like this.
they found test, then the prop, but that was suboptimal for treatment bc short ester time, then they found the longer esters which are just perfect for medical use.
it was tried to manipulate test chemicaly, to lessen the androgenic sides and up the anabolic sides, but the milder products have shown to be too weak, and the stronger products too many sides.
so testosterone "won" that.easy as, what causes too many sides will not have a mainstream breakthrough, too mild will be no good, and orals destroy ones liver sooner or later.
but we got to see it from other perspective, where they stand now is much better than nothing.
anabolism is one thing, could inect a bunch of slin all the time, but the sides and not getting fat is the other thing.
all the new stuff on the block has roven inferior in one way or another.
and theres no money in it, more money to be made in other medical fields.general opulace dont give a crap about muscle, half the world has heart issues, other half has diabetes issues etcetc.much more urgent priorities.
muscle is vanity.the rest is "dead or live"matters :D

If you could take a pill and have muscles would you be proud of your achievement? Every drug has a side effect. There are no free rides. When you take a drug because of an illness you would hope the positive effects would out weigh the negative. Chemo depending on type can make you very ill and even kill you but you hope that it stops the cancer first.
I have said this like a broken record. If you never have taken steroids but are training very hard for years then go on a cycle it will seem like a miracle. In under two weeks you will notice a definite difference. Your lifts will go up and your body will change drastically. At the end of a 6 week cycle using good stuff it will seem like you found the answer to every lifting prayer. Suddenly you are getting so much positive attention from both men and women. Guys ask you training questions and some girls really are attracted to what appears to be an alpha male.
So begins the addiction. You feel confident, aggressive and have a feeling of well being on the juice. You start cycling on and off because you want to avoid health problems. The four week rest period you lose some gains but nothing too drastic. Your mood is affected but nothing too bad. You are hooked on the power of steroids. Years go by then you notice the body isn't responding as well as it did. You up the dose and problem solved. After 5 to 10 years of being an attention whore with your drug temporary muscles you begin to have problems. Maybe an arrest for syringes and vials. Maybe you can't justify all the crazy money you spent chasing the drug muscle life style. It could be that you realized your quest for man muscles you neglected the pursuit of a career and now your 35 with little except acne and a little to old to be the tight shirt guy at the club. It could be your having health problems. Your liver enzymes are off. Kidney tests start coming back bad. Your body might aromatase the testosterone into estrogens and now your bloated. Your blood pressure might be high. Maybe you decided to enter a fun run 5K road race and had to drop out because of exhaustion and chest pain.
In the end you go off the bodybuilding drugs. At first for the first two months it isn't to bad but you are definitely losing muscle fast. Then you notice you feel nervous, timid and depressed. You search the internet for answers but all you can find is bro science empirical nonsense by dopes you wouldn't trust to wash your car. No scientist has major research on this sub culture of a sport. At 6 months you look like a mess. It looks like you never trained in your life. You see a doctor who says he will put you on HRT but that barely helps. The doctor says you have to stay on this the rest of your life. More years go by and once in awhile you go on a couple of cycles but it just clear you're a steroid junkie and you quit for good. No one would even know you were interested in fitness let alone bodybuilding. You keep a bent up picture in your wallet of how you use to look but no one is really interested in seeing it.

It all depends on how much it would cost, if it was more expensive people would still buy steroids.
Used sensibly they are not bad for you.

They did, it's called roids. roids are a supplement. Why don't they invent something else you're saying? Why, they already discovered it. yes steroids are a multi billion dollar business world wide.

Indeed... there is just no end to ego and addiction, whatever those might be...

if you stay on low dosages
most of these problems go away
you just look like a very good natural have minimal sides
and the size dif isnt so much its addictive

Nat test still gets shut down, no matter how small the dose.

It would be very difficult, expensive, and unethical to do.
I'm just speculating here but at the end of the day steroids are nothing more than synthetic reproductions of the male hormone testosterone - if you wanted to mimic that with zero side effects within the human body I'm not sure it would be biologically possible.
These are hormones that the body has to respond to at the end of the day for whatever hormonal function they promote and if you use too much of a good thing (in this case, testosterone) you'll still get the sides - for every reaction there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Not to mention the testing procedure - who would fund it without being open to extreme criticism and government scrutiny? It would have to be done in complete secret, underground, with private funding from a source already financially sound so what would the benefit be to them? Too much risk, too little reward.

so
you missed my point
-
if such a drug existed or was created that would cause instant strength and gains with zero side effects chances are the military would seize it and kill off anyone that knows about it and create super soldiers.
I think this was called Universal Soldier with JCVD

Someone needs to tell you that you have no fucking idea. You don't just lose muscle when you go off. How would you know? You've never used.
Plenty of us have come off and kept everything. You just focus on those that pass you in a year because they use and then clean out and stop training and 'lose' everything. Easy to lose everything when you don't keep training.
-
You don't just lose muscle when you go off.
Yes you do. You may not lose all the gains, but you don't keep all either.

Might not keep all the extra fluid. I came off after i competed i knew how much muscle i had since i was ripped. Haven't changed in 10 years.

and? ???
yes some gains go away, the bigger the dosage was the bigger thw loss will be.
another thing is , metabolism is by far not as efficient anymore when off, less glycogen storage, more fat storage.
a quite annoying difference.
precisely that little difference that makes one look impressive or not.

Actually, it's the other way around. The metabolism becomes more efficient requiring less calories. A faster metabolism is inefficient. It's like a hummer or sports car that burns through fuel... thats not efficient.

you came off of testosterone as well? what was the pct? Maybe you'd be where you are at had you not taken the drugs anyway.
-
If a person trains for 10 years drug free and I trained for 5 years natural then 5 years on steroids then I come off and you compare me and the natural bodybuilder 2 years later I will still look better, so steroids for the win.
-
Once you train in the lofty ether of anabolic steroids, eat 300gm + protein per day, progressivly increase your poundages, maintain metabolic balance, you add new nerve pathways, nerve synapses, muscle memory, and have the "been there done that" advantage. After you go back to natural (and might I add keep your testosteone to a 6:1 epi test to test ratio or less) you will keep all the advantages having done those 405 squat reps of 10, 315 inclines x 6 and the easy 80 pounds dumbell curls. You will be bigger and stronger. You will look much better than the max you could ever reach as a natural, even 10 years later.
I have traveled these waters.

The last time i came off i used PCT (HCG + Clomid) however i felt it made no difference at all, just delayed the recovery process starting.
I was ripped at 193 and now that is my limit to how lean i can get, i hover around 196. I am far bigger than i would be without using drugs, you really have no idea. Why you think you will just lose muscle when you clean out makes no sense.
