Branch warren does basically the same thing I do. same order and everything except he does arms twice a week. tuesday is heavy, straight sets and saturday is light, supersets. what do you guys think i was going 3 on,1off. 2on 1 off. now i'll be going 6 on 1 off like this.
Mon.-Chest/abs
Tues-Arms(heavy,straightsets)
Wed-Legs
Thurs-Shoulders
Fri-Back
Sat-arms(light,supersets)
Sun-Off.

I just thought i would try it to get some new growth and defination to my arms.
-
ummmmmm go easy on tri's on tuesday and easy on bi's on saturday.

Not sure that's ideal. 6 days without rest sounds like a lot. And arms follows chest day and back days (where you allready done work ony our triceps and biceps respectively)

yeah i just finished my first week of this.....today i hit arms and it was a 15 min workout super setting tris and bis reps of 12-20 per set and the pump was unbarable.....im also cutting carbs and trying to lose some body fat so i thought the extra day could help while still training? i donno if i find im losing size (i've premeasured everything) i'll go back to 2 off days a week.

Branch warren does ...
Do you have also the same cycles as Branch?
Wake up and smell the fresh air of coffee. Those kind of routines are not from this world without some serious gear.
Train 4 or 5 times a week, en do some cardio. Go jogging ones or twice a week. A good condition is a must if you want to make structural gains. 6 Times a week strengthtraining is just to much for a non-professional, it's even to much for an amateur.

isnt that Branch's pre contest split?? i havent seen alot of MD or FLEX lately...... the book store or groccery store doesnt seen to carry it anymore......doesnt Branch/JOJ use more of a power route like four days per week?? i think that doing arms twice takes its toll on you chest/shoulders workouts.. with that split you more like doing arms 3-4 times a week. with dircht and indirct workouts.

You guys act like that's a hard routine. ::)

well i was going like this before* and i made excellent size gains....the extra day is to work on arms a bit more and get cut more fat from training one extra day. i have never used gear in my life but eating right and diong this type of training got me from 190lbs to 220lbs within this year. no bullshit i also just turned 19 no my body is starting to respond.
*monday-chest abs
tues-legs
wed-shoulders
thurs off
fri-arms
sat-back
sun-off

I've found that I get better results in my arms pairing them with other muscle groups, instead of giving them their own day. But the opposite applies to my legs, with legs I do my hams and quads on separate days. Here is my current training split:
Mon: Quads & Calves
Tues: Delts, Traps & Abs
Wed: Off
Thur: Back & Bi's
Fri: Hams & Abs
Sat: Chest & Tri's
Sun: Off
