Normally before I workout I drink a strong cup of coffee to get me going but I was wondering about all those pre workout supplements they have these days, do you guys take any of them and do you get better results than a strong cup of coffee.

On long-workout days, I still have some old skool Jack3d that I use. It is starting to lose its awesomeness.

Just eat my breakfast with a protein shake and head off. :D

Nothing. I roll out of bed, throw on some workout clothes and head to my garage to get started. I've been doing this for so long My body just wakes up at the same time everday, which kind of sucks because on vacation I'm still getting up early all alert.
I've been working out on an empty stomach for about 12 years now

Assault goes a bit overboard with the beta-alanine. My head, forearms, feet, legs were tingling like crazy the last time I used it. There's a tub on sale for $8 at GNC. I thought about getting it but since I already have VPX's SyntheSize, I opted not to do so.

In my late 20's I tried cocaine before a workout a few times when I had the stuff alying around....to this day those sessions will be remembered as my best work outs ever.

Days im off work i drink 2 or 3 cups of tea, gym is a minute away from kids school so drop kids off and straight to gym. I too like training on empty stomach

get a jug of musclepharm assault. take a half scoop that and mix it with a half scoop of your c4. ive tried every combination known to man of every supp out there and this works the best. as a stand alone if i had to choose only one it would be GAT. NO3 Overload was my favourite back in the day. of course it got discontinued.

duchaine's original formula was beyond ridiculous. it came out right when i started working out. what i wouldnt give for a can of that. might as well just snort a rail of crystal ffs. tahts not true- crystal is way cleaner and less jittery than Hot Stuff was :D

I tried some of those stimulants when they still had that DMAA stuff in them, but to be honest I find now that a very strong cup of black coffee (real coffee, not that instant crap) and some thrash metal is more than enough to get me amped up for a training session.
I think the key with coffee is not to use it on rest days or at other times of the day. Keep it strictly for before workouts and it almost gives the ceremonial like effect of a pre-workout supplement (I'm sure that some of this is placebo effect).

if I have time i'll drink down about 6g of cittruline malate as well.... as well as sipping on a Gatorade with 10g bcaa's and 10g whey isolate and 15g fructose and 15g dextrose.... but lately my workouts have been sporadic and I don't have time to properly prepare. :-\ ..... oh, and also, if I have time (or if I have the product on hand) i'll put 50-100mcg IGF1-DES in each muscle trained 10mins pre-workout... which also hasn't been happening in the past few months. lol

For those who do longer workouts or do weights and cardio back to back... i'd recommend you try citrulline malate. I could do 2 hours of weights and then hop in the treadmill and go for days. Stuff works.

Started taking agmatine this week, but more for the positive effect it may have on increased nitrogen turnover in tendon tissue. I.e. my supraspinates are both fucked up, so I'll try any outlandish cure to fix them.

Latley two caps of keratin 45 mind before weights. Then on the way there,15-20 min drive,I finish up sipping on an amino acid mix and strong cup of coffee. Then another scoop of amino with 2 caps of kreakln sipped through out the workout. I train fasted. Wheater the amino help or not it gives me peace of mind. Kreakylyn by American efx works

Usually Jack3d, but sometimes Adderall and 40 mg Halotestin. Not kidding. If I'm doing legs and just don't feel the fire burning, I snort an Adderall and whooooaaaa mama I'm ready to go. Not that I recommend this, but it does get you going like nothing else.

What do they love about it?

A Zero Redbull. If I don't get one right away, I get withdrawals and have to run to the store.
I can do black coffee, but it's not too easy on an empty stomach. I've been training on an empty stomach for over 35 years.
I can do scrambled eggs and hot sauce... if I have time, otherwise it's a few big swigs of water, a Redbull and off I go.
The closest thing that resembles food is an RTD, which I have to drink very slowly. Full of vitamins and minerals and WAAAAY to much protein, so I drink about 3/4 of it into the morning.
As the day progresses I eat a little more. Most of my eating is done before bed.
That works for me, and it keeps me right where I wanna be.

Yes I am hearing good things about it also, right now I am trying to choose between C-4 and vpx 12 gauge shotgun.

Depends on the circles you run in. I can find it like asking for a tic tac. Plenty of online overseas pharms sell it also. In case you don't know, adderall is just amphetamine. Definitely not something you wanna do every day, but on leg and back day it gets me so amped up its great. Easy to get out of control with it though cuz you fell pretty fucking good on it.
