You should see what happens in the US:
That's what you call to "serve and protect".

To be fair, exactly what they're serving and protecting isn't clearly defined.
The small print could read "my own interests and whims, and screw everyone else." :D

this is a tricky one...
no, they shouldn't beat on her.
BUT they're in the middle of a violent protest. Her claim of "just asking them to be nice"... well, she's creating a distraction, too. When a few of the guards approach her to talk, that creates an opening elsewhere for bad guys to act up.
And she is protesting. She's not walking to the store or going to work. She's in the middle of a crowd getting rowdy. The whole crowd can say "I was just asking them not to be rough..."
The dude did over-react... he belongs behind a desk or not working at all.

Brazilian "popeye"? Yeah he would scare them off with a singular bicep pose.

That country is a mess. worse now than even when Chavez was in control.

No, it wasn't rigged. The people in the barrios loved Chavez and voted in Maduro to continue the "Bolivarian Revolution". My wife is Venezuelan and I lived in Caracas for a couple of years. I think Maduro's total incompetence will finally push people to overthrow the government.

These "protesters" are bought and paid for by American tax payers. ::)
The majority of the people support Maduro and the Bolivarian revolution.
This is what's really going on in Venezuela since January 2014

I too believe it wasn't rigged, but only because the bus driver barely won the elections, unlike Chavez who would normally win by a landslide. If the bus driver was gonna rig the elections, why not make it a landslide in his favor? Then again, maybe he just didn't think about that. He is an uneducated bus driver after all.
