It was a great game, but raw talent overcame team chemistry in this one.

it's usually the case.   We saw an undisciplined/more talented HEAT defeat a Spurs team with better chemistry & coaching in the Finals last year.

I'm a UK fan and have watched them play all season. They are finally learning to play together and probably played their best game of the season today. It will be a tough rematch versus Louisville.

Awesome game... best I've seen in a long time... Kentucky had the better athletes,
and they cleaned up the turnovers in the 2nd Half.

Only gripe against WS was at the end of the game, no way Van Vleet gets that shot, even if
he does have a high 3pt %... this game was Early's and Baker's to lose... they were hot
shooters, and Van Vleet spent most of his time in the 2nd half on the bench in foul trouble.

You have to free up one of those guys to take that last shot.

Still, very entertaining.

Perfect Bracket

Media always reports shit incorrectly.  He went 28-0 than misssed a game, was one of the $100k winners easily.

Are you saying the 4 Chips the Spurs won was because they were more talented and undisciplined than the teams they played?

It looked like 2 missed free throws in the final minute of game 6 was what lost it for them.

i would say the talent was pretty close, and better coaching won.

When they played the Heat, they were so much more disciplined and better coached... but they were beaten (barely) by a team that was younger and more athletic/talented.   It went to 7 games... but Duncan missing an easy bucket from point-blank range in the final minute of a close game... age was beaten by youth.

If these 2 teams from today play week one, KY gets the KY.  But given just a little bit of chemistry, they're gonna win.
