thats $120-$240/hr. If I was paying that much for a woman's time I could think of better things to than to fucking talk online. I'd love to see some of the losers they have as customer's who pay that much to type with shebeasts. And yeah, I can't imagine someone preferring the audio...

There's free chat available with both video and audio. A person can visit that for free and then decide whether it's worth the per-minute price to pay for the private, one-on-one chat.

The private chat option is a premium service, no question about it.
But there's no obligation at all to anyone who wants to check out the free chat. And at least for today, it looks like the women are doing a lot of posing even for the free guys.
While I'm not at liberty to comment on the specifics of the business end, my partner and I did make a rather large investment to bring this technology to the female muscle webcam market and we're certainly hoping it will pay off.

I cannot comment on the specifics of the business side of things, but we are happy with today's launch. The level of participation has been higher than expected, considering we didn't announce this new project until yesterday. Some have asked why we didn't make the grand opening announcement sooner and the reasons are simple - 1) we didn't want to tip off the competition and 2) we didn't want to promise it and then have something go wrong to prevent us from opening.
Yes, there is a demand for this type of webcam service and so we felt it was worth the investment.
The "pose-for-pay" (or "pose-for-schmoes") phenomenon has been discussed quite a bit on the site and although it may seem odd to some, there are numerous people willing to pay to see a woman merely flex her biceps. When you look at the number of female muscle paysites out there, then it's clear that we're talking about a pretty sizeable industry. The schmoeconomy is larger than most people realize.

Surely most reasonable individuals would agree that a woman feeling her flexed biceps is worlds away from a woman rubbing her crotch. The latter is fine for other sites, but we're not going to allow it, period.
And you're right - with the way we run our business, if someone's wife or friends see what he's looking at, big deal. We keep it clean, because that's the side my partner and I wish to remain on. Our reputations and the long-term success of our businesses are more important than a potential short-term financial windfall.

While there is no absolute control over what an individual may ask, persons who make inappropriate remarks or requests may be booted or banned from the system.
Our service is every bit as innocent as advertised. We have no reason to run a bait-and-switch on either the customers or the performers. It's clearly in our best long-term financial interests to represent ourselves accurately.
