Title: Conventional Natural Bodybuilding Diet
Post by: Roger Bacon on May 16, 2014, 11:12:11 PM
Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm going to give a legit bodybuilding diet a shot.

I've done keto, that works like magic if you stay on it long enough. "If it fits your macros" is the best I've tried.

I'm training hard, and I feel like spending most of my calories on nutrient dense foods and high protein might be good for a change?

Oh brother. Just eat well. Only less. See: TA

Done it, it works wonders.

I'm training each body part twice a week though, powerlifting first three days than hypertrophy. I feel like regimented, "clean" nutrient dense foods might do me some good.

Maybe up the protein/cals morning and night? Clean foods burn fast, so throw in some nice fats. I prefer a sprinkling of Doritos.  ;D

Its good to get into a regiment... Keeps you on track . What does your diet currently look like?

Whatever I want to eat, counting calories and protein. Trying to get lots of fiber and nutrient greens.

Do you have plenty of the good fats?

Yes, I eat pretty good stuff.

Do you think I should try a "real" bodybuilding diet though? Six meals, brown rice, all that?

Yes absolutely. I believe that if you are serious about getting the best results from your bodybuilding training then you should eat for it.
