This comment was along the line as rancher Bundy's comments but since it's a black making the comment there is no outrage from the left, nor the right. Bundy went the other way wondering if blacks were not better off as slaves and everyone condemned him. The left hasn't said a peep about their own racist.
The only ones trying to benefit from racism are blacks with their reparations non-sense.

Hey, this is bogus. All the guy said was that holocaust survivors benefited from being considered white AFTER THEY CAME TO AMERICA.
The way he said it WAS insensitive considering his visibility, though.

I think you're fundamentally wrong to compare this guy's statements to that of Bundy:
AFAIK*, Bundy made comments about black behavior, not about how they were treated by others. Toure made a statement about how whites (Jews, in this case) were treated by others, not about their behavior.
See what I mean? -- Bundy is making racist statements and Toure is making statements about racism. More than a little different, if you ask me.
BTW, I was too lazy to look this stuff up so I may have omitted shit or even have it wrong. Feel free to correct me, though. (As a mostly white guy, I got no dog in this fight, lol.)

I think we are adapting way too much of the Left's Demonology. The Left has their book of Demons, arranged in a hierarchy, ruling over the various circles of Hell. It's a useful Alinsky tactic to use their rulebook -- or their Book of Demonology -- against them, but it ofter seems like we're not actually adopting their worldview, rather than challenging it and refuting it (and mocking it).
Touré believes he is entitled to win out on every political belief he has because he's black. It's that simple. And his method to achieving this is just to cry "Racist" whenever someone disagrees with his idiotic ideology. (And note Touré's version of the left's idiotic ideology is particularly idiotic, self-simplified down to a series of crude chants that even he is capable of understanding.)
I don't think it serves the purpose of refuting this idiotic "My Tribe's Prior Sufferings and Grievances Are Greater Than Yours" method of "discourse" to adapt it for our own.
We should reclaim a proper vocabulary of criticism and derision. At the moment, society seems to have reduced the vocabulary of criticism down to only two crude, simple, stupid descriptors:
1, An Idiocracy-level nonspecific negative term, often "bad" but sometimes various near-synonyms taken to mean little else but "bad,"
and, of course, 2, "Racist" (and all the other --ists).
Touré is a very stupid, shallow provocateur -- sort of the White-Acting Al Sharpton. He is the sort of lazy, trashy "thinker" that could only come to prominence in the Age of Twitter.
Having said that: Yes, Touré is palpably racist himself.
Black Racists of Touré's type have a claim they make: They say one cannot be black and Racist because blacks do not have political and social power. Their formulation is that "Racism" can only exist in those with political and social power. Racism = Hate + Power , I think they claim.
They never explain how Black Racists with quite a lot of power -- such as Spike Lee, or to a far lesser extent, Touré -- can take shelter in this "rule." After all, both of these men have a great deal more political and social power than, say, a White Hispanic named George Zimmerman.
Nevertheless, even if we concede this dubious claim, we can still say that Spike Lee and Touré are filled with Racial Hatred. Perhaps we'll let Baby Have His Bottle and agree, provisionally, they cannot be "Racist" due to their own made-up-to-excuse Racism rule.
But even if they can take shelter in that rule -- that lacking "power" they cannot be "Racist" -- they cannot avoid the fact that they are filled with Racial Hatred.
If they claim Racism = Power + Racial Hate, and claim further that not having "Power" they cannot be Racist, by definition -- well, fine.
But that technicality does not absolve them of Racial Hatred. I'll concede (just to avoid this ridiculous, third-grade-level semantic game) that they can't be Racist by that formulation, but they can still be -- and of course are -- filled with Racial Hatred.

Good explanation of the "blacks can't be racist" thang. I've read that before from writers who seemed pretty competent but never really understood it. I agree with this guy, though; Whether relatively powerless minorities can be accurately called racists or not, they can surely be guilty of harboring racial hatred.
I'd never heard of this Toure fellow before so I have no comment on whether he's established himself as an idiot or not.

Many Jews were not the only ones with the ability to hide in plain sight, many Blacks also had the ability to do so.
