Title: Delayed onset muscle soreness in legs, calves, biceps from running in the forest
Post by: Rami on May 31, 2014, 01:50:41 AM
It's still there two days after since it was the first time running in many months. I did however run a very good time, which surprised me. But since I have excellent cardio these days I must expect nothing less.

So the next day I was already sore in multiple places. My muscles also didn't feel full to where I felt working out would be productive. Something I'm not used to, so it's was slightly depressing. Now I have to keep running at least once a week to keep my body ready for running all the time. I sure hope it's worth it. I value working out with weights the most. Running is just for leisure.

Oh yes, I also did 20 second sprints twice up a hill. Maybe the soreness was caused from this. I just now remembered that.

You think running once a week will keep me from getting sore? Or is once every other week enough?
