If your shoulders are healthy dips is one the best pec, tricep and shoulder tie in exercises. It really stretches out the shoulder region in a great way if you are healthy enough to go deep. I just see to many young people doing shallow ego dips with a million plates like they are impressing people with their delusional strength.

That said, it is possible to take the ROM too far and damage shoulders, so be careful. ROM + TUT with just bodyweight is great.
