Yes it can affect your training. If you're really stressed it can hinder your ability to focus while your training, it can affect your sleep, and for some it can produce bad nutritional habits.
Whatever is stressing you, if possible, cut it out of your life immediately. If that is not a possibility then just do the best you can with it, and try to understand and come to grips with the fact that while some things do need your up most attention, stressing over them is in no means something that will help you or those around you.
The stress free lifestyle, it's the only way to live.

Stress has a big affect on your gains, more than most people realize. Stress effects your cortisol levels, increasing your catabolic state (body feeds off of your muscle). It also affects your deiting, it plays a significant role. Get it out of your life as much as possible.

Lifting weights is my anti-stress :P
EXACTLY ... i lift just as much for my damn mental health as i do to look good....its a huge stress releaser / reliever....its pretty damn hard to be worried about work, money, school, relationships or whatever when youre tryin to move heavyass weight....i think i would be an extremely irritable unpleasant person if i couldnt lift!

I agree, if I'm having a bad day or stressed an intense workout will change my mood for the better every time.

Totally agree w/GET_BIGGER on this one!You get yourself stressed out & there goes the anabolic state you want & need so badly to grow.
