Title: New 06 Phenom
Post by: littleguns on February 10, 2006, 08:16:04 AM: Last year all everyone talked about Federov as the next big thing. Well unfortunately he crashed and burned.

Who in your minds is the next big thing?

Gustavo?
Branch?
Cook?

Personally I think the guy to look at for is Darrem Charles. Granted he has been arond for while and although he may never be Mr Olympia I think he will do some serious damage this year...

There are tried and true professionals who have won shows and not received a Flex cover, but Wolf is blonde haired, blue eyed.
What he'll be able to do on a contest stage against the best the IFBB has to offer is another story though...

I also feel that if Dave Henry and Mark Dugdale continue to improve their placings will keep getting better. Darrem has been a pro for a while and I feel that this placings won't improve that much from their current unless he comes in dramatically different which I don't think will happen. Chris cook unless he can come in more conditioned and bigger won't be anything that great. This wolf guy looks good in the mags by himself but who knows what he'll look like next to guys like Dex, Ronnie, Jay and co. Hype is just hype until you prove you have what it takes on stage.
