Did you see him rep 225 lbs 43 times on the bench press pro bowl competition. he probably could have a done a few more if he wanted. you think pro's could do that?
true he does weigh 320 and is not ripped, but probably not too far from what some BBs look offseason
-
hahah ya i saw that too, larry allen is a beast, hes also on the best team in history, the Dallas Cowboys ;)
-
I still remember that play where Reggie White tossed him aside like a 120lb weakling on his way to sacking Aikman.
-
Which pro looks like this in the offseason beside Kamali?

the team in my avatar has been owning them for 30 years now 8)
as for Larry it was very impressive and he actually followed the rules by touching the chest and extending the elbows unlike the rest
the only other one that did this was none other than Super Bowl champion Mr. Joey Porter who got a very impressive 35 reps

He bench presses 700 pounds.
-
I really need to see how many reps of 225, I can do at a body weight
of 190 8) The most I have done is 15 reps
-
He bench presses 700 pounds.
yeah did you see that sometime last year. it was during a half time on their monday night game. no bench shirt or nothing. just half the team rooting him on. thats one strong mofo.
-
Larry Allen benches 43 reps with 225 and his max is 700.
Ronnie Coleman benched 78 reps or so with 225 several years ago at some Met-Rx convention. Who knows what his one rep max is, but is definitely has to be less than 700.
The legendary strongman, Bill Kazmaier supposedly benched 50 reps with 405 (according to out fellow getbigger Onlyme), and his max (Raw) was 661.
The math does not add up ???
-
probably something to do with stamina or slow/fast twitch fiber composition.
or one man was just plain lazier.

Motivation and fibre composition will factor into this, no doubt.
Kaz's 50 reps with 405 is outlandish though. Onlyme needs to chime in on this feat.
-
I would give Ronnie a cool 600 in the bench with about 6 months of specialization. Ohhh.... and no benchshirt would be required.
But with his recent shoulder and elbow problems, this ship has sailed.. I'm officially going on record to say this is Big Country's last Mr.O..

just did 225 for 37 rep on the incline !
that guy is a fat slob !
-
Kevin Levrone would've owned all of these guys on the bench
in BFTO 98 after benching 405, 465, and 500 on the flat bench and then doing a few sets of 405 and 465 on the incline he pressed 315 on the incline for a solid 15 reps
"after all that still 315 for 15 reps" Ghani
"yeah baby" Kevin 8)

BFTO98 is one of, if not, the best

and yet larry allen makes more money than all these dudes so i dont think he cares what u guys think

As great as he is, as much as lifted and as great has been-he's vulnerable to inside stunts and swim moves on passing downs and that really shows itself to be a weakness with Drew Bledsoe being less than as mobile a quarterback as many QB's in the league can be? I say that The Cowboys need to make a serious move for Brett Favre who could still have some good years Quarterbacking a contender in the vein of for instance-A Staubach?

Damn, Favre with the Cowboys would be damn fun to watch.
-
yeah i hope he does not retire. i love watchin him play, esp when he actually has 1st string players around him
-
Scott Young did 43 reps recently in an NFL combine.

In proportion That is equivalent to me benching 160 lbs 43 times. lightweight :)

Yeah it must be to do with slow twitch fast twitch etc as somebody said. My trainging partner can bench more than me for low reps but i can do more reps than him on a medium weight
-
or maybe that he just has no 700lbs bench. ::)
-
hahah ya i saw that too, larry allen is a beast, hes also on the best team in history, the Dallas Cowboys ;)
I live in Dallas and hate the Cowboys so do a lot of other people who live here as well

can anybody confirm this?? are you sure it was done without a shirt or have some big guy doing stiff leg deadlift while spotting???was it full range
-
that's cuz he's black.
-
Ha,ha ,yeah,he benches 700 raw,of cource his spotter is taking about 250 pounds of it.
-
I think Monday Night Football showed a short clip of him benching 700 earlier in the year. It was raw but I don't remember how much help his spotter gave him.
-

there were spotters, but no help. it seemed like hlaf the cowboy team was there to cheer him on.
no shirt. it was as clean a lift you can get for 700lbs raw.
-
i just lifted 225 and the fukking bar snapped me in 2 :'(

R.I.P. Reggie White. The Minister of Defense.

Oh, so your a Houston Texans fan? The team that never wins. ahahahah!
-
R.I.P. Reggie White. The Minister of Defense.
I heard a story from his former teamate Mike Golic about Reggie white being challenged by a rookie who could not play but was an animal in the weight room. Supposely the guy did like 13 reps with 405 and Reggie did like 14 just for fun.

Reggie was arguably the best defensive end of all time. He was a great man too.

i gotta call bullshit on that one, Reggie was a big guy but he didn't even look like he trained.

Reggie was not a big weight guy, but keep in mind that was the same man picked up Larry Allen with one arm and threw him about 2 feet in the air.
Did he not clean and jerk with like 380lbs in the jeep superstar many years ago and looked as if he han no idea about form.

no, he did a push press from the racks with 380 which is pretty damn good but he dipped his legs a good deal and it was far from easy, push presses are a hell of a lot easier than strict shoulder presses, i would REALLY doubt he did 13 reps with 405 on the bench, from the looks of him he would have had a tough time doing that many reps with 275 his arms were really small.
-
Its his job to be that fat u racist piece of shit Lama.He can always lose weight and u will always be poor.Ya he is ugly but I'm sure chicks don't give a shit.
-
sorry dude but am far from poor !
i have my own business and i own a house in the city
so fuck you ! now go bacl to living othere people's lives bitch !
by the way everyone in this country is a racist !
that's how it was founded and that's how it will stay .......

Larry Allen is one of the strongest players in the National Football league. His strength is almost super human, he's on par with some of the best powerlifters in the world.
To make fun of some guy because he looks heavy and wears a face mask is stupid.
This guy is a beast. Not everyone can bench 700 raw, you can also download the video if you think it's not true.
I didn't think it was cool anymore to inflat your bench press stats. Honestly what difference does it make?
-
Also if this doesn't say anything about the players in the NFL than I don't know what will...........
Larry Allen, a 400 pound lineman who can bench press 700 pounds was tossed like a tooth pick by Reggie White.
Some people on getbig immediately think gear but these guys are amoung the upper echelon genetically, there's only one Larry Allen and there's been only one Reggie White. These guys were beasts.. not some kids who take gear and troll getbig.

Where can we get the video???

look at how small Reggie White's arms are in that picture.
-
look at how small Reggie White's arms are in that picture.
His arms weren't particularly small, it's just that his torso was thick as hell. He was naturally strong, not strength produced from time spent obsessing on workouts.
Football power's largely generated from the torso & lower body; arm strength is useful but very secondary. Arm size in football's partially ego.

ok, "pumpster", hahahaha.

More filler from sarcasm, a true size queen.

Plus, it's a balance and technique thing. There are 180-pound wide receivers who would pancake block many 250-pound BBers to the ground, because of their skill, moves, and timing.
