Title: Phil Heath is skipping the Euro/ Post-O shows this year
Post by: 240 is Back on September 17, 2014, 05:34:02 PM
I can't say I blame him.  Kai did look WAY stronger last year following the O, and Gifted was the word.

WHAT ARE THE PLANS AFTER NEXT WEEKEND? DO YOU PLAN ON DOING ANY POST-OLYMPIA APPEARANCES OR SHOWS?
Competing, no. There will be no other shows but the Olympia from here on out. I'm in a position where I can do that now, plus I need to focus on improving business for my companies. The Olympia requires focus.

Once that's over, I need some type of break. If I get on a plane and fly to Madrid to compete, I can't interact with fans like I want to. It will be nice to go over and interact like I want to and answer questions about the company and network with other business leaders. I want to be ready for all of that. I can now devote more time to that as president of a company.

I love handshake tours. I enjoy meeting people. That's part of my personality, and now it will be good to do that from a business perspective. As for appearances, this year, I will be in Spain, Dubai, Prague, I think Turkey, Florida for guest posing, home, then L.A. to guest pose, New York for more business and networking, and then my own show in Wyoming on October 25. I'm a busy man.

Yes, Phil can only peak once. Whatever he does, it only works once. Cause he looks non olympian after his first show.

You know he must be in a good place financially to not even worry about picking up 130k or even 75k as 2cnd at the Arnold

What that means is that by Olympia time, 20 anadrol a day is the limit with all the other assorted goodies...Probably feels the pain on the right side under his ribs knowing swiss cheese isn't one of his favs when it comes to the liver...

What's he got another 5 years left to make money? He should do those shows for the paycheck. What a dummy how can you just skip out on another huge couple of pay days. His supplement company won't be around for more.than 2-3 years. Too much competition in the industry.

In Phil's words...he's got investments "in things you know nothing about"

The internet has exposed almost everything. You show up at an Olympia after party these days, you may as well turn in your heterosexual card.

It's actually a little unsettling to hear Phil talking like this.

In the past, he had one job - arrive on a plane, eat right, flex, and win.   And collect those supp company checks all the while.

Now he has to work his tail off, beg investors, negotiate, connect, OVERSEE, and at the same time, be the world's best bodybuilder.... could be bigger rewards, but wow, it's seriously stressful work.  Running a company - much less a supplement company in 2014 - I think anyone that does it will say it's extremely stressful if you invest the work and time needed to earn 300, 400, 500k a year in profit.

I admire him for it, but I think most here would agree - the past 3 months, and the next 3 years, might be the most stressful Phil has ever seen.  Might be the most rewarding if his comany conquers most of the others as well.   Are the products superior?

Phil has to go out there and get more "ATHLETES" to sponsor and more CANDY for the Social Network

Phil is being smart the amount of shit you have to put into your body to win these shows it better to only do it once per year.

Yes, phil will blow out his organs for more coins. Less fortunate bodybuilders blow out their organs for a tub of whey and a plastic trophy.

Mr Olympias hadly ever did any other shows after the Olymplia in the past.

Its nothing new him deciding to do this, its a smart move because should he get beat then his MrO would be less clear cut the year after.
