Title: How big are yours?
Post by: alexxx on February 15, 2006, 10:46:34 AM
My weels are getting way to big and I am having trouble breathing just from walking! I am going to start a cutting phase and stay there for the offseason too. My wheels are 27 inches and calfs 18 inches. I only do one all out set of 20 reps... maybe I am just gonna stick with isolation. So whats your excuse for those scrawny little wheels?  ;D

Since all you seem to want to do is brag, why not post some pics big guy?  I might have seen one of you over on Intense muscle and if that was you there ain't no way in hell you've got 18" calves, they'd be twice the size of your arms.  So put up or shut up.

Are you doing enough cardio to keep fit. My legs are roundabout your size but I have to do a lot of walking
because I catch public transport. I will confess my calves are only 16" tho.

I know your pain...  I can't wear a suit with pleated pants, and most pants in general don't come in my size.  you don't meet too many people with a 34 inch waist, 30 length and 30 inch thighs...

What's my excuse?

Haven't been training.

Haven't been eating.

Haven't been taking gear.

Been too busy working and on holidays and enjoying having a life outside of the gym.

Is that enough of an excuse?

6' 228lbs 27 3/4 at biggest point and I only do really slow front squats going up to about 185lbs for 12 sets, nothing else.  I usually stop squats and go to leg curls/extensions 8 weeks out because the upper body is lagging.

my legs have such a tiny bird-like bone structure, that even if i developed as much sweep as tom platz, they would still be only around 28 inches at the absolute most.

Learn how to spell jagoff!  I did mention slow reps.  I can go up to 225 for reps at a quicker tempo.  I could lie my ass off and say I do 600lbs for reps and blow smoke up everyones a$$, but I was just keeping it real.  Sorry if you aren't impressed.  And currently I am 10 yr natural there big guy, I'm over 40!
