So House of Cards season 3 premieres in just a few days, on Feb. 27, and only on Netflix, like always. But what time is it going to drop, giving us all kinds of new spoilers? Netflix hasn’t actually said yet, but don’t get your hopes up yet, East Coasters: Last year, House of Cards season 2 débuted at midnight… Pacific time. That’s what us Easterners call “too late to start binge-watching a show.” Ah well. Chances are it’ll be the same this year, so… better steer clear of the Internet on Friday.

'House Of Cards' Season 3 Release Time: When Can Fans Watch New Episodes Friday? East Coast Does Not Get Midnight Release
Many “House of Cards” fans on the east coast are under the incorrect impression that the new season will be available for streaming at midnight. However, Season 3 goes live at 12 a.m. PST, which means east coast viewers must wait until 3 a.m. EST to hit play on the new season premiere. Viewers in the Central Standard Time zone – CST – must wait until 2 a.m., while viewers in Mountain Standard Time areas – MST -- must wait until 1 a.m. Only lucky fans on the west coast will be good to go when the clock strikes midnight.
