So my wife stumbled upon this fact online, even as a Biology major I never heard such a thing, tell me your thoughts.
Overly intense exercise (excessive exercise may lower your sperm count by producing higher levels of adrenal steroid hormones, which lower the amount of testosterone in the body. This testosterone deficiency, in turn, decreases sperm production)
Another factoid was on steroid use, shrinkage of testicles, etc. I can see that, but not this one..

Of course that is common knowledge. Lets take a marathon runner. He is placing so much stress on his body, endorphins through the roof. The total stress will cause cortisol and adrenal buildup which in fact will lower testosterone and may even, in some cases, increase estrogen production.

I also seriously doubt this will effect a bodybuilder. Being a bodybuilder isn`t that hard. Its not putting the kind of stress that an endurance athlete has to bear.

it's easy

Are you the guy that called up the radio station and asked that question? It was posed in the exact same manner.
