B, The Dog was throwing Rocks / going to shoot him.
C, The dog was the wrong colour/ selling cigarettes illegally.

Fucking half the cops in the U.S. seem to masturbate to the thought of shooting dogs. It sociopathic behavior at best.

In before the cop sympathizers say:
The cop was having a bad day. Cut him some slack.
If you hate the police so much, then don't call them when you're in trouble.
When I get pulled over, I am nice and respectful to the cops, and nothing bad happens to me.
It's clear that this driver was being irate and difficult. If he would have just followed what the cop said, the cop would not have gotten pissed off at him.
The cop was just following procedure.
Cops have a very tough and stressful job, so he made one mistake, big deal.
The people filming the video only captured the last part of the incident. Clearly, the driver must have done something bad that wasn't caught on camera.
The cop felt threatened for his life, therefore he was allowed to scream and yell at him. I mean, look at the driver, clearly threatening the cop.
-
A cop could shoot a yorkie and say his life felt threatened, and all the other cops would agree with him. ::) ::) ::)

All three of mine looks like wraiths of death coming at you. That SD cops would be shooting at all of them, and I would certainly be shooting too. And I don't miss.

Sorry, Agnostic, but you're brainwashed. You were even defending that cop who was yelling at the cab driver in the other thread. Absolutely NO justification for treating the cab driver like that and you were defending him. You know your moral compass is lost when you defend a pig like that.
Ridiculous. You cops will defend anything another cop does because you're all part of the same "cult."
You seem like a good cop, as for the rest of you, I don't know.

please show where I was defending him. In fact, I did the opposite. While I can understand his frustration and anger as I explained in my post, because I have witnessed aggressive driving, people who put others in danger etc I too have been pissed at drivers. BUT.. as I said, you have to be professional and deal with them professionally. I also said he was wrong, he was an a@@hole and he earned his consequences. How in the world is that defending?

By even acknowledging that "he was angry" sort of slightly takes the blame off of him. You are displaying empathy toward his supposed "bad day." To me, that sort of indicates that you are indirectly trying to understand his side of the story, when there is no other side. He was clearly in the wrong, bad day or not.

Yes...... And.....??????
For starters, the article link originally posted was clearly written by someone spinning the story. Perhaps a blog of sorts. The article I posted was a news source and tended to be more balanced. In other words, an attempt to report the story rather than create opinion.
Being at the wrong address could have not been the officers fault, it might have been but we don't know based on the article. 911 call takers can make mistakes, dispatchers can make mistakes, the original caller could have made a mistake so we don't know. They thought they were at the right address investigating domestic disturbance. Nothing to get too upset about there.
The video..no sound. The owner says the first officer petted the dog. He may have, but I didn't see that for certain. I watched the interaction between the dog and the 1st officer 4 times. He could have briefly petted him, he could have held his hand out for the dog to smell him or he could have been reaching for a pen, notepad etc and it only appears like it from the camera angle. Nothing to get upset about there anyway.
The dog then approaches the officer. Owner says and I'm paraphrasing "He just went over to say "Hi" and was wanting to lick the officers face and the officer panicked, and shot my dog"
What I see is the dog lunging up at the officer 2-3 times while the officer is backing away. Without sound it's hard to tell what is happening. The officer may be panicking and shouting while the dog is playfully yelping, or the dog could have been suspicious of the first officer, when he went towards the 2nd officer he became aggressive, growling and snapping at the officer.
Tragic? Absolutley. Wrong address, guy loves his dog.
But based on the available information, I'm willing to wait and see before I start labeling the officers rabid dog killers. If the evidence indicates the cop shot a frolicking dog who just wanted to play then by all means, hang him from the closest tree.

listen this guy said in another thread he busted Druggies, took their Dope.. took it himself. Imagine him pulling you over ? His talk about the use of force gives me the impresion he is either very badly trained, has mental issues .. probably drug related Paranoia.

I really don't think you read my posts. take some time, read the string. If at the end of the string, and reading with an open mind, you still feel I defended him, let me know. Seriously..

If you want something killed, just call the pigs. Ex girlfriend, former business partner, barking dog, meowing kitten, chirping bird- just call the pigs. They will show up and start killing.
Pigs always gonna pig.

Ha ha, that's kind of a funny irony.
Without the pigs reference maybe just maybe
Even Agnostic can see the Dark Humour.
