how long has it been since you lost last time? it's easier to lose a lot in the beginning then it gets harder and harder...

You've provided virtually NO info; if you've lost weight and reached close to your core/natural bodyweight, of course you'll have trouble losing more, vs. being 400 lb. to start with. You also have not provided ANY diet info. How the hell could anyone have an idea what you can do without any info?  ::)

Just stop eating altogether and start taking moderate doses of laxatives.

Should get things moving again.

im 5foot 6 i started out 262lb, i lost 60lb i dont really follow any tradituional diet i just dont eat fast food at all or any carbs after 3 or 4 in the afternoon. i was doing cardio every day now only 3 times a week. the reason i stopped doing cardio every day is because i stopped getting results. any diet ideas or maybe change the type of exercise im doing?

Poor cardio-- always gets the bad reputation when weight loss stops!   LOL

Mix up the cardio-- were you walking, swimnming, runnning, what? and for how many minutes?  Do some intervals where you speed up and slow down during the workout, pump your arms more--do weights with less rest time to get more aerobic.

Then there's always your diet to examine---in the beginning of this type of effort we all are good-- but as time goes on-- some might waiver!  Write it all down....plan your more frequent meals.

You will get past the plateau.

Maybe you need to spend a couple days eating bad (don't get carried away by any means) to really jumpstart your metabolism again.  I also think you shouldn't have stopped cardio.

your body needs some kind of shock to stimulate weight loss.  try cycling your carbs.  go 2 or 3 days on next to nothing carbs, then bump them up to a moderate level.  intense cardio is key.

When is anyone gonna learn? Cardio is not the only key to weight loss!! >:(You HAVE TO HAVE TO have  proper diet program in order to loose weight! Cardio alone will do nothing if you are eating way past your maintenace level bodyweight. Eat 500 calories less then your maintenance level per day add some cardio(even though you dont have to) and you will loose one pound a week.

Your metabolism is likely really low from restricting calories for so long.  Increase your calories for some period of time, then get back to dieting later on by reducing calories gradually.
