i am new to this,but ive been reading alexx s post and looked at the pictures and do not believe that he is 240lbs and he must need glasses if he thnks he is going to be a natural mr olympia.his lifts i do not know if there true but if he is 240lbs then they are not that good,i do not want to be negative but a reality check is in order.but i wish him luck in trying to do it the natural way.

I don't know what it's called - but it's similar to how you think your own flatulence doesn't stink, ummm more clues....ummm, like selective hearing! This dude is not in 'bad' (as in unhealthy) shape but to run the statement:
YOU GUYS WANNA KNOW WHAT A PERFECT NATURAL PHYSIQUE LOOKS LIKE?
- what the hell is that smell?
Probably your boyfriends treat of the day.
Your gonna have to wait but in the meantime visit:You need to work on those legs more or is that the best you can do?

My first post!! Sorry it has to be a negitive one...But let me ask ya's this...
Is this fuckin' guy alexxx for real or what??? I'm new and have been everywhere on these boards for a week now checkin' shit out and all I see is this piece of shit alexxx showing up with his absolutely "worthless" & "weak" training advice and childish posts!!!
Now I come across these pictures of him!!!!!...Jesus H man...You have the body of a 15 year old boy!!! You have TOTALLY "jerkoff" looking legs with that fugly friggin' hair all over them, NO calves, NO notable lower or upper back, lat/trap development what-so-ever, weak chest and small bi's and minimal (almost feminine) tricep and arm (forearm) development!!!! Good mid-section (I'll give ya that)...you are at the very beggining stages of development and have years to spend in the gym before you body catches up to your fuckin' mouth!!!...dude, seems you spend way to much time on here with your 3100 worthless posts and NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE GYM OR THE KITCHEN!!!...At this point you're about a pimple on the ass of the body building world...so keep that fag mouth closed and get to work...
You got a looooong way to go alexxx before you can begin to offer advice to anyone...I'd love for you to try to walk into my gym and shoot that shit eating mouth off...you'd get bounced outta there in a NY fuckin' minute!
SledgeHammer
It's quite possible Alexxx is 240 pounds because the dude is like 6'5''
He's far taller than a Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman.
A natural beast! ;D
Exclleent point Oliver although I would guess that Alexxx is probably around 260 ripped to shreds about now.

The problem is that you are comparing absolute measure. To have a decent idea of how you stack up proportion-wise you should use the measurements in relation to your height (that's what the original "ideal measure chart" did).
So Reeves ratios are:
Shoulders = 0.32 x height
Neck = 0.25 x height
Chest = 0.71 x height
Waist = 0.397 x height
Arm = 0.25 x height
Forearm = 0.2 x height
Thight = 0.36 x height
Calf = 0.25 x height
Since you are 6'4" or 76 inches (rounded to the nearest inch) to be comparable to Reeves your measures should be:
Shoulders = 0.32 x 76 = 24 2/5 (1" short)
Neck = 0.25 x 76 = 19" (3" short)
Chest = 0.71 x 76 = 54" (9" short)
Waist = 0.397 x 76 = 30" (5" too big)
Arm = 0.25 x 76 = 19" (1" short)
Forearm = 0.2 x 76 = 15 1/4" (1 1/4" short)
Thight = 0.36 x 76 = 27 3/5" (3/5" short)
Calf = 0.25 x 76 = 19" (1" short)
And that is *IF* the measure you gave us are accurate. However since you carry more fat than Reeves, chances are that if you leaned out you'd be even farther off.
Neck, chest and waist are WAY off. The other measures might only be 1" or so off... but consider that a gain of 1" on the upper arm requires around a 10-15lbs gain in bodyweight (according to Coach Poliquin who tested a zillion athletes).
I was overtraining with the arnold type routine and got my weights back done to an embarrassing level.

really? wow, yea I remember you using significantly heavier weights.
I train similar to AST guys, "max ot" You shouldn't train muscles more than once a week unless you do low volume.
I have a friend who trains everything 3 times a week but he only does 1 set to failure per workout.
Am working on it now!
Thanks I already lost a considerable amout of fat and am currently at 230 pounds. But that makes me look bigger so I am going to keep killing the fat and hopefully one day get back to a 29 inch waist.
Does anybody know how much the smaller straight bar weights?

oh for the love of God. This guy claims-on IM-that he was 240lbs and was told he'd be Mr. O by the guy who won the Mr. Montreal. He says he has legs that are so big he can't walk without getting out of breath, he says he can give training advice to a guy line Onlyme who's been training for longer than he's been alive and this is what you look like? What a fucking joke. Man, here's some advice, wait about 5 years and when you finally break the 200lbs mark then post some pics otherwise STFU.
Alexxx is not a mass monster, but he's got the perfect combo of definition and aesthetics/symmetry.
looking good dude , how long ya been training?
6 years.
6 years. I know I have a lot to improve and am doing so at a drastic pace. :) Thanks.
I see no room for improvement ;D You are the future of bodybuilding ;D
haha never though I would get any feedback from you but it is welcome! The reason why I am using the lighter weights is because I am controlling the negative. Its about 3 seconds down. About the 110 pound dumbells for 6 reps its not Rest Paused! I give everything I got to get past 5 reps and then the sixth was crazzy as hell! After 15 deep breaths I couldn't get it back up again so I did some quarter reps from the begining. I don't train with a parther either.
Going to the gym right now for 120 pound flats and gonna try my darness to get some resp pauses out of them..
Thanks. Fee free to give me more feedback.
Today I felt drained I have really low carb day and only had about 30-40g before the workout. I am going to go for higher reps.. but I think the heavier you go the bigger your muscles will get. So I will stay with the same weights but work my weight up in reps from workout to workout. thanks
Yeah bro thats why I am going so light on calves! Those are killers! I am loving it!
Definitely start a journal. Helps motivation especially when you know other people will be viewing it.
where are the pics??
