Was out in Hakkasan Mayfair, enjoyed an epic high protein meal with lots of alcohol, decided to move on to the bar, this faces a dining table which was occupied by some Arabs, looked like they're on here on their usual early summer break....anyway, it's 11pm, it's a Bar in London...IMO not an appropriate place for muslims...I started being a typical getbigger and a manager they spoke to came to me and asked me nicely to get my fingers out of this girls vagina....WTF? whats the world coming to? I mean I don't mind muslims...I don't go to Mosques to finger girls...but now they come to my comfort zone...bars and clubs and try and dictate where my finger should and should not go.
BTW the girl was Swedish, brunette, slim tall 5ft10 trying her luck at modelling in London, and all she did all night is complain about how effeminate Swedish men are...I was attentively listening and showing her how real men act in classy restaurants.

I have a "problem" with high-end mechanical watches too. There is a high correlation between "gun-guys" and "watch-guys". I think it's a fascination with intricate mechanical movements.
Gun and watch guys also frequently have a problem with high end pens, like Mount Blanc. I do not share this fascination.

They are all metal and glass, sure, a bit better quality in some cases but definitely not worth the extra money.
I had a £10 TAG watch, everyone thought it was real, I always said it was fake, they used to even make me take it off so they could look at it.
I threw it away when the battery ran out.

You sound like my wife. Sure - I will admit that those posh handbags are better quality - but honestly, they aren't worth 5 grand a pop.
Fact is, there is a market for things that are overpriced for people that want to show off. Wines, Cigars, Whiskeys, Watches, Handbags, Clothes.
They generally are good quality items but you are paying a 10,000% mark-up for the fact that most people cannot afford them and it gives you status.
I remember reading a book about Palermo where a lot of Italian designer gear gets made. These 5 grand handbags being made for about 40 Euro's. You have to respect the people selling that stuff, even if the buyers are muppets for buying it.

There is a marked difference in the finish on the higher end pieces. The finish on the AP makes the Omega / Rolex look amateurish. It is like anything else in the high end world: the law of diminishing returns. But if you appreciate the craftsmanship, wearing it is reward enough.
