Who are the biggest natural liars in bodybuilding history?
My vote goes to natural legend Mike Ashley
Wooshhhhhh

A fella that trains in my gym. Overall big, lean, huge arms, everything screams some serious saucing for at least few years. He chats me up (noticed that I'm throwing around some decent weights and asks whether I ever tried my one rep max one some exercises) we have a convo about training, food, body weight, etc... I then say "Ok, so what are the compunds you are running currently?", he's like "Well, you know... I eat chicked a few times a day and some creatine."........................ I bert stare him for a second :-| and proceed with "You must be fukkin kidding me right? I'm the last person in this gym you should be telling this shit, trust me.", he gets uncomfortable, kind of laughs in a nervous way and we continue our workouts.. SMFH

I had a similar conversation with an owner of a gym I used to train at. Weeks before the conversation he told me he was jumping back on. A few weeks later we're training at the same time and I mention that he's looking better, the gear must be kicking in. He responds with "oh no I'm not on anything". After just staring at him blankly he amends it to oh yeah it's working.
He is a compulsive liar though, I think he loses track of whom he's told what.
-
It's one thing for a pro to not mention his drug usage.
It's another thing, all together, for a pro to claim to be 100% drug free.

Very strange phenomenon I must say, which is esp. widespread in this "sport".

Almost all users lie about it. They will talk about it with other users. The reason why is clear. Most are attracted to this "sport" because of insecurity. If you admit you're using all the compliments and attention you get for your temporary muscle goes to the drugs and not you. You want the accolades for being a hard worker in the gym and your exercise knowledge. When your off drugs it seems no matter how hard you work in the gym and all your exercise knowledge does nothing for your physique. Then again most users don't go off long enough to see that.

Black dude in a gym I used to train at. Nice enough guy but lied through his teeth regarding AAS. I never even use to ask him, he just use to start denying usage almost as soon as we started talking. :D
In terms of the famous ones, then it's anyone out of O'Hearn, Willet, Miller, Moody, La Cour....etc. Take your pick.

The world heavyweight liar trains at my gym.
He accuses everybody of juicing. He can barely bench 225 for 10 but at some time of the year he suddenly increases to 275 for 5/6, same for squat. Because he sleeps better, because of that because of this of that.
And suddenly after 8/10 week he's suddenly injuried, he can't sleep because of work, he's ill et cetc and he disappears from gym.

Especially when they're doing it to others 'in the know'. I'm sure they must feel like jackasses listening to themselves try to bullshit someone who can see the signs.

Usain Bolt
Mike O'Hearn
LeBrick James
Joon
-
The only solution is to say "well, I guess you won't mind me inspecting for needle marks"
-
Know 2. " ???" "Just, uh, you know, eating a lotta good food." Three months later eating a small amount of bad food, I guess.
To their credit never saw either of them even halfway rage out. I was like a salivating ape on a fitness girl's dose.

I am not sure that I would have ever talked about it with anybody had it not been for the freedom of Getbig. It's still weird to talk to Walter White on the phone and have a normal, everyday conversation about gear, needle gauges, compounds...

Where I live - it's not a big deal, never was, but I can understand you, it's different in the States.
-
Crazy how he expects people to believe him. To win a pro show, non tested and scream drug free??? Yeah....

So true...i think every gym has one of these guys
-
Paul Jean Guillaume claimed he was a Natty. I tend to believe him. Some don't.

Why are you guys surprised that random dudes you barely know from the gym won't admit to illegal drug use?

"Natural liars" in a literal sense i will have to go with Doug Miller
-
I know a few former beasts that always claimed natural and now, due to steroid related health issues, had to quit saucing and dropped 45lbs in bodyweight, albeit still training. Whats their excuse now to be a lot smaller? No more monohidrate?

It's actually quite funny that these people had a following before and many widely believed that they were natural athletes.. One look at the bodyfat % to height to weight ratio and they should know right away.. They don't think that's accurate? Some common sense would suffice... These people will continue to feed off of and sell supplements to the dumbies.. Always find myself coming back to that video when i need a good laugh haha :P

I agree with Mike Ashley. Skip la Cour (who even came on here and defended his status).
Ronnie Coleman doesn't count. He's said what he did at seminars and even basically said it in other interviews. He was a goddamm cop he can't exactly say too much.

My feelings on this have evolved. Previously, I was of the opinion that these guys have to make a buck. But then I realized the tens of thousands of dollars I spent over the years on supps, and I realize that there's a legal term that encompasses their behavior: fraud. It's fraudulent to claim that a product does something that you know it does not. I am sure that all of these "natties" that rep supp companies stay away from the legal jeopardy of saying stupid shit like, "I built this body with XXX" but they are close.

I do understand your point - and agree - BUT that's advertising in general. Do women really believe that the stars on the hair commercials REALLY have hair that looks that way because of shampoo that can be bought at WalMart?? How about the make-up commercials where the movie star or model states that XXX is her "secret weapon"??
I don't see the difference at all..

Tend to agree.
I think the blame falls on the consumer eventually. Especially in this day and age, where information is available in an instant. Do your own research, draw your own conclusions, then make a purchase.

Alot of it is technicalities.. there are certain words you can say to advertise it and there are certain ways to say things so that within the confides of the law there is nothing anyone has against you.. that's all the court system is anyway.. It's never logic.. All technicalities
