Title: Andre the Giant's true height

but all the 'smart marks' insist he was more like 6'10.

but watch videos like this:

Warrior was not 5'4 LOL

what gives?

I would guess in his early 20's Andre probably was right at 6'11.

He reportedly lost some height after his surgeries.

Good point...I didn't even take that into account. I remember Hulk saying he lost a decent amount height as a result of his back surgeries as well.

Post by: funk51 on June 21, 2015, 11:19:57 AM: all people lose height to a greater or lesser degree due to aging, injury or other factors. guys who used to hang upside down could stretch out a full 2 inches when they decompressed their spines. in my own case i stood a whopping 68 and a quarter inches off terra firma when i was in my forties at 63 i a whopping 66 and 3 quarters inches good god. look at billy superstar graham he was around 6 ft 3-4 inches i doubt that he is 6 foot anymore.
