Everyone says Undertaker has best entrance...I am quite partial to Finn Balor......
Your favorites?
-
Batista.
-
Austin.
The glass and heavy guitar...
Plus, all of the obscure, off-the-wall stuff he did with pickup trucks, ATV's, zamboni's, beer trucks, etc.
-
I'll take this one:
-
Randy Savage...the glitz...the glamour......be it pomp & circumstance or Metallica...the 20,000 dollar robes and the women.
-
Road Warriors back in NWA. Their music hit, they stormed the ring and dished out ass beatings.

Yes, Savage!
Although, I'll qualify that claim by adding that it was one of my favorites up until the neon cowboy wardrobe era, which didn't have the same impact for me. :-X
Foley has said he always loved Taker's old-school entrance and wished he'd had one like it. He wrote about it in his book in the chapter on the Pittsburgh HITC. He described standing on top of the cage and literally feeling goosebumps watching as Taker made his way down the ramp.
-
Currently like Lesnar's and Wyatt's.
Taker's is great too.
-
Finn Balor has the best for me at the moment. All time?...... Ultimate Warriors is up there with Austin & LOD
-
WWE is giving out some shitty ass music to top level people for their entrance themes. What is this shit Sting is using?
Remember Rude and Fernandez - Ravishing and Raging - the "other" R&R express? We Will Rock You.
New Breed? Beastie Boys. Etc...
-
Chris Jericho had a pretty good entrance, especially when he debuted. It wouldn't be hard to make up a list of great entrances though.
Austin
Flair
Hogan
Warrior
LOD
The Rock
Mr Perfect
Bret Hart
Macho Man
Goldberg

Did you like Hogan's nWo or original WWF theme better, and how old are you?
There is no "right" or "wrong" answer. I'm just curious.
-
I always liked the classic NWO music. Right now Bray Wyatt has a cool entrance. Triple H and is song by Motörhead is worth mentioning.
-
Million Dollar Man is worth a mention.

Hogan's NWO entrance with the strobe lights was pretty good, but I was around 10 years old when old school Hogan would come out to I'm a Real American and thought it was great. I'm not an American but that song was energetic.

Ya, I wasn't a fan of the cowboy hat and tassles. I thought he looked ridicolous then until he re-invented himself in WCW with team madness.
Undertaker always had a kickass entrance. I loved his biker gimmick entrance. Everyone always would stop to see what kind of hog Taker was gonna cruise out on.

Okay...
It sounds like you and I are around the same age.

I'll give Savage a pass, as it was the early-nineties, and consider what WWF had to work with.
Taker is said to have come up with the biker gimmick all on his own. I guess they gave him some creative freedom after that dumb-ass satanic angle.

Sasha Banks
The look, the song, her mannerisms. It all works. That's that why she's one of the hottest professional wrestlers in the world.
When she enters the ring, everyone else seems insignificant.

Helps that she's hot as fuck too. ;D
I'm really liking her work, one of the best current divas.

The next match you see of hers, watch the way she takes falls.
Having studied BJJ and Judo, I'm pretty well versed in the art of falling. You can tell she's worked really hard at it.
-
Of all time?
The Y2J original clock entrance
Shawn Michaels when he came in wire
Undertakers Ministry with the monks and chanters and the guys holding the flame
The original DX entrance
Today?
Finn Balore when he's painted
Wyatt
-
this man
-the huge ovation
-the intensity
-the colour, the physique.
Undertakers were good too but its apples to oranges.
Warrior was full of life. Taker was full of death LOL
polar opposites. Warrior running like a rocket. Taker walking like a zombie.
both suited their characters perfectly.
perfect ring entrances for two of the greatest gimmicks of all time.

If you don't watch New Japan, I suggest you check it out. I believe guys, here, will find the product more enjoyable than what WWE is currently offering.

You really think Nakamura is the best?
I'm really partial to Takahashi... Gotta admit also, that since AJ Styles went to NJPW, he's been even better!

If Vince was serious about the business, he would sign Styles.

I believe you mean Tanahashi. Many say he's the Cena of New Japan. I'd call him Cena with Shawn Michaels' athletic ability. He's super charismatic with a great look. It's almost impossible to not like him. That said, I'm not a high flyer guy. I prefer Bret Hart over Shawn Michaels.
Conversely, Nakamura reminds me of no one. He's a complete original. He has a flamboyant presentation. Yet, once the match starts, he becomes this encyclopedia of martial arts presented in a pro wrestling format.

I did mean Tanahashi, my iPhone corrected it to a K, as my web browser also just did causing me to go back and change it.

I believe it's the prior year. This past year, he came out wearing a crown and Michael Jackson Jacket. JR calling his match was awesome.

Agreed here and he could use the male talent. Right now, the best match on the card is when Sasha or Charlotte wrestle.
On another note, I also agree with "Hulkster", Warrior's entrances were intense and crazy. You had to be there in person to experience it. The fans went berzerk once that music hit.
-
The question is whether Styles would want to work for Vince.
AJ has great chemistry with the top guys in New Japan, and the crowds love his because of his skills, even though he plays the heel.

I was never fortunate enough to see Hellwig live, but I do know and admit that he was crazy over.
Had he been a "company-man," he would easily have replaced Hogan.

Flair claims that Char's matches with one of the other divas - I forget which one - are being compared to the Flair/Steamboat series of the 70's/80's.
-
Had this guy been able to work, he would've been the next Hogan. When he was with Vince, he came to a gym where I was a member. I was about 19 at the time. To this day, he is the single most impressive looking human being I've ever seen in person.

Magee spent a brief time training with Stu Hart, although, you'd have never suspected it.
Nonetheless, Hogan was said to have been very fearful that Magee would be the one to dethrone him.
-
example of how crazy awesome Warrior's entrances were:
and check out the bump the jobber takes at the end. holy shit!

I was lucky enough to see him live about 5 times I think. in toronto and hamilton in ontario.
saw him in the following matches live:
- 1988 vs honky tonk 2 days before summerslam 88. Warrior took the belt and posed with it after the match despite only winning by DQ cause Jimmy Hart interferred. the post match celebration with Honky's belt was a prelude to summerslam 88.
-Vs Andre in a steel cage in 1989
-teamed up with Texas Tornado vs Rude and Perfect. All are dead now :(
-vs dino bravo
-vs Hogan at WM6
Warrior was the best !
-
one thing I do wish is that Warrior slammed Andre during the cage match I saw live. He didn't that night but apparently did a bunch of other times (all are on youtube)

Andre's feet left the ground a lot more than many people think - and more then WWF let on.
In fact, Andre was slammed quite a few times by guys like Hansen before Hogan's big "slam heard round the world." Although, Andre was probably at his heaviest when Hogan and Hellwig had their turns.

absolutely.
hell, didn't hansen slam him in 81? 83? Andre was doing drop kicks then lol

Yes, although that was the type of hype-based marketing WWF (and all of pro-wrestling) engaged in.
Just like Hogan and Andre had faced each other in the ring several times prior to WMIII - in other promotions and even the Fed. But, 1987 was billed as their first one-on-one.
I still remember them advertising Hunter & Taker's last "Mania match" as their first WM encounter when they'd had one just several years earlier if memory serves me.
-
Loved how Hogans music continued to play at WM8 whilst he was battling Sid at the start, just made the entrance that bit better for me. Warriors return that night goes down as possibly the greatest return in history IMO, i still lose my mind.
LOD at Wembley was phenomenal, Hogans return with the red & yellow in the 3 man tag with Sting & Goldberg was something else (always preferred American Made).

Yes.
Similarly to the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.
Taker had actually defeated him twice before in handicap matches and won, but never 1v1 until Wrestlemania.
