How is Melvin gonna call out Dex, and not come in shredded? All I see are pics of Gus, Vic, and Branch. Melvin has the best shape in bodybuilding today. No amount of posing can change his conditioning, the man nees to get on the ball. Because he easily could have had this in the bag...if he was conditioned.
-
Maybe that is Melvins weakness....... he just cant get ripped without losing all his size.. Genetics man I highly doubt he didnt try to het ripped. he seems to work hard.Either way its a damn shame he cant get riped and stay big ???

lol what pics are u lookin at
All the ones i see are him super ripped.

Ya but he looks over dieted i ment he is ripped but he looks flat as hell.
-
i agree with ya there. Im hopin that by the evening show he will be much fuller, but i still think he reached his best "conditioning" ever. He has wicked lines. Just needs some damn calves and nail his contest prep.
-
I agree with ya there bro..... If he could keep that conditioning and fill out how can he not be the winner.
-
Melvin is in great shape. He is actually tighter than he was for the prejudging. He had the best routine of the night.
-
He was was waaaay better when he won his pro card. And hie was shredded. His only problem back then was that his quads lacked sweep to them, they were straight up and down.
in the 2006 ASC pics he is more conditioned than usual, yes, but he looks flat. Plus he needs a set of calves. And a bigger chest.
To me , Melvin could have bagged multiple Ironmans, and a couple Arnold Classics, if it were not for his conditioning. He almost is the total package. The best lines, the best poser, small waist, one of the sickest back double bis, great quads, and arms, and educated.
Who does his diet prep Nicholls???
-
Mel is to small especially in the chest! i think he looks amazing better than the competion even but thats from a "how i'd wanna look" point of veiw from a BB perspective he isnt up to scratch yet!

I agree completely, he has presented a beter phesique at times, But i still think this is the best conditioning of his carrer.
Just needs to fill out more, and do something to them calves.

Melvin is skinny, skinny, skinny, skinny, too light to fight, too thin to win.

He should have beaten Martinez!!

Co-Sign!! He actually looked like he might have peaked too early & flattened out.
-
Yeah, I still think he needs to hook up with Joe McNeil. He was the guy that got Flex Wheeler in shape for the 92 USA's and I believe the 93 Arnold. Dex hooked up with McNeil and was off the meter. I think that since Melvin has the same shape, and problem areas as Flex, that McNeil could fix the conditioning part. But as far as chest that is up to Melvin. But 5th in th Arnold ain't bad...could have been first.
Fuck teh Chad

He looked good exept his arms which looked flat as hell. That always happens to him.
-
Yes he looked very tiny.

what was your secret for losing so much muscle for the show, "big" Melvin?
-
Come on guys Melvin looked great yesterday, gotta give the guy the props he deserve. But he was really flat.
Had Melvin been fuller he would have taken the first place trophy or maybe second. He was the best conditionned guy on the stage.
I never really liked melvin's body until yesterday. He had cuts everywere, great leg separation.
I don't no why but I have the feeling melvin is gonna be top 3 at the san francisco beating guys that were top 3 yesterday. Just have to full those muscle a little and that is in the bag.
Good luck melvin

Dont listen to the haters Melvin. You were very unlucky with your placing. The pics show your conditioning especially in the quads was unreal
-
melvin seems to be a nice guy and i donīt disrespect him, but i donīt understand all the hype arround him!? he has only two strong poses, and there heīs beatable (abs and bdb)! this time he came in his best shape ever, i agree, but again he wasnīt hart enough. imo top 9, not better.
