Title: WAKE UP Chris Cormier
Post by: Farkenell on March 05, 2006, 02:22:25 PM
What the fuck is he doing!!! He has the physique to place 1st at the Arnold, he beat Dex last year at the San Fran. I can see him winning the O one day.

If he maintains his shape and gets bigger, he's got it. Dorian Yates said on probodybuildingweekly.co m he has what it takes and told him to come over to Britain and train with him, and he fucken didnt. What the fuck is wrong with Chris, doesnt that say something about his potential, doesnt he understand.. must someone write it in CRAYON!

Can you imagine what he wouldve looked like after a year of training with Dorian, Jesus Christ!!

Im a big fan, but.. No more fucking around Chris, wake up and get your act together.

lol, like training is an important factor for success in the pro ranks.  My guess is that Chris is slacking off on either his diet or just being lazy with proper gear cycle planning.  Dorian should help him with that.

True as well.  It's quite possible he's trying his best and the outcome we see is the best he can do.

Chris has been asleep at the wheel bodybuilding wise since 2000.  What the hell?  Why even bother to ruin your organs with the drugs if he is only half assed in the effort dept?

I believe he has spent too many years now not working as hard as he could - and now is no longer a top contender to win shows.  Yes, he may place well, but I don't think he will win ever again.

Some people think if you dont win every show your off. These kids on this forum have no idea how the slightest miscalulation can throw every thing off. Dont try to explain to them anything you will just give yourself a headache

In his '99 Olympia condition he would've won this year's ASC easily.  BUT methinks he'll never get in that kind of shape again.  I used to be one of Cormier's biggest fans but in the past few years, he's demonstrated that he's thrown in the towel mentally. :(

The Chris Cormier of '99 & '00 would have smoked Branch & Dex easily.

Unfortunatley, the closest thing to smoking at the Arnold classic that Cormier came to was the blunt session with Victor before he left to train with Dorian..

I guess I should re-state a little.  I do think that Chris has never reached his full potential.  He gets distracted too easily and likes to party as we all know.  If he had Cutler's work ethic he would be so much better (and probably won many of those shows).  By asleep, I meant that he could have worked harder...

Working with Dorian will do him wonders , dorians work ethic alone should make huge improvments to Chris , and I am sure dossa would have laid down the ground rules before he took this task on , remember Dorian will see the result as a reflection of hymself and his ablitys as well !!!its in his competitive nature to do well !!

Who knows? With him being in England and no entourage to follow him around he might just get it right this time. If you've been to England the weather sucks so going out all the time is just a task.

I mean this in the nicest possible offhand way, but you can still buy drugs and party in england.

He just needs to nail his conditioning, it's not like he doesn't have the size, shape or muscle maturity.

Sorry, I work offshore for weeks at a time with no internet, this explains my lack of knowledge.

Good to here Chris isnt playing games anymore and he's heading over to Britain.
