any experience with using weed (mary jane) on cycle? I heard it may slow down the metabolism but for me its good sleep, apetite, not being so tense(relax) and focus for workout too.

Been smoking ed since the age of 22ish.

Depends on the person, type of weed.

I don't get the munchies no more, no matter what kind I smoke. I smoke it more to just relax and not worry about shit. CAn't sleep without it.

Try it, see how you react to it.

For most, it's not a good idea to smoke before the gym.  I do, but have stims to overpower the potential lazy side of it. And if you smoke before the gym, make sure you're standing and stay standing for obvious reasons!

Same here been smoking pretty much ed since i was 23. MJ is way better than alcohol for athletes.

Biggest problem for me is the paranoia when on certain AAS and the increased aggression if I dont smoke for some time.

Smoking before gym and drinking some pre-workout sup is what i do these days.

Only time I cut weed out is the last 10 weeks before a show. I smoke a bowl after I train and all day on the weekends

I smoked weed every day for ten years in my teens till about 5 years ago.  Didnt really effect me negatively except if i went over board with the munchies.

I think weed can help with the bodybuilding lifestyle in odd ways it makes me more content with being at home instead of wanting to go out and party or go to resteraunts. I feel like weed helps me save money by staying home more. Only real down side to weed is it can be hard for me not to smoke every single day once I get started. It also tends to make me do less productive things through out the day. I can definitely think better, get more acomplished, and remember things better when I havent smoked for 3 or 4 days. Once you get in the habbit of smoking every day it can be hard to recognize side effects like decreased long and short term memory. I was smoking every day for a few years and just stopped for a month then started up again and I noticed a big difference in all the things I named.

I recently went to amsterdam (terrible city btw) and smoked weed. Made me really careless and binge on food. Cant see how you can follow a diet while smoking.

The munchies go away after a while of smoking. Lol best thing to do is if your smoking weed and dieting keep all junk food items out of your house or keep some really good tasting protein bars on hand.

I smoke am and pm dialy for 4 years now I am stronger with a buzz. As said above u need a good strain I have a morNing green and evening green if I smoke the morning weed at night I stay up too late no alcohol usually alcohol sucks for this type hobby lifestyle

Till i tare my bicep apart during training from falling asleep, or getting people staring my stoned eyes, no way lol. If i smoke weed ill play music and fall asleep on the gym floor and whatever happens happens

I would personally recommend not going to the gym stoned until you are very experienced with weed. If you smoke at night time when you have gotten everything done for the day then being lazy is ok thats the way to do it. Some strains definitely give a better high for different times of the day just stick with sativa or hybrid for day time and what you smoke at night time doesn't really matter unless it keeps you awake.

Yea to some degree it does for me but not like nagging Injury pain the pump feels better and is tolerated better by me during sets.

A small hit before the gym helps me to get a great workout. Whenever I start smoking it turns Into a daily habbit fast. If I over do it I become extremely paranoid I've had long drawn out painck attacks. After a few weeks of smoking I start losing confidence I feel nervous a lot. It makes me think about little things and they become big things. I'm an anxious person to begin with. It makes it twenty times worse. I don't know how people with anxiety deal with it.

Once In awhile I take a moderate dose of Benzo and then smoke. That's fun a few times a year.

there is strong correlation between chronic mj smoking during adolescence and lower IQ.

I'd be miserable without weed, don't even wanna think about it. The right weed, I can smoke before I train but I also take stims and nootropics before hand to balance the potential lazyness factor.

It's a fine line of being buzzed/stimmed and knowing your ideal doses for each.
