Title: DOES BRANCH HAVE A CHANCE AGAINST LEE THIS WEEKEND IN AUSTRALIA?
Post by: FLEX N FREAK on March 14, 2006, 08:52:19 AM
The only reason I ask this question is that we know how biase the Australian judges were towards Lee last year when they let him beat Chris C and Ronnie Rockel.

We all know Branch has a superior physique to Lee, will the judges see it that way?

or will Branch end up the bridesmaid for the 3rd time this spring?

m2, what do you think, I dont think GUS is in the show though ???

Two midgets going toe to toe....should be a good show.

better arms, better abs to Lee IMO

chest and back (just) go to Branch

Legs are equal, just depends on Lees conditioning. Remember hes easily 30lbs lighter but his legs are almost as big

Branch has the momentum, lets see what lee brings to the stage before everyone starts theorising about home advantage etc.

The real question is will Branch be able to peak once again after already doing soo many shows?

Is Branch to be the next Milos is regards to the competing in the most shows...

Branch is awesome and I wish him all the best...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

O man...

Lee has good legs but they are not as good as Branch's. branches legs are ridiculous. Lee has the best arms ever..... But when it comes to all other body parts. Against the other top level pros he is average and when it comes to chest mediocre compared to the other top tier guys..

arms go to Lee, calves are pretty equal, abs to lee for sure, but Brach smokes him every where else.

Lee is still a much bigger name still though.

Besides the arms in general and abs as someone already told, i think Lee has better shoulders and calves....
And Branch´s back its not too much better than Lee´s, if it is...(just my opinion...). But he beat Lee in chest and legs (minus calves)
Besides that, i think Lee its a better poser...that should count in is favour

DOES BRANCH HAVE A CHANCE AGAINST LEE THIS WEEKEND IN AUSTRALIA?

No.

He has as much chance of beating Lee in Australia as Pelletier has of beating Ronnie at the O.

Hope this helps.

I agree has better shoulders and calves. But lee is much more narrow than Branch. In a head to head I think he will make lee look small.

If you were BB.com would you spring for tickets to Australia to cover a second-tier show?

I wouldn't.

I am the position of being able to go but I've watched some shows live on the feed and ultimately they seem a bit boring to me.  I am not so well endowed with cash right now that making a bum decision and going watching something boring (ie, like the rugby league I watched on sunday) will not hurt.

And I believe Branch will win unless he's off.

It would take a lifetime best Lee to beat a good branch at the aussie.

Your an idiot.  that's like say CC only beats Lee at he O or Arnold or whatever because CC is american and lee is Aussie so the american judges are biased.

It didn't matter where or who judges it, CC was off last year.  He peaked at the Arnold and was no good at the Australian.

Of course the Aussies are going to favor there hometown boy.

SO, that's why Lee place so low in the states.  Because the Judges favor their U.S. boys and lee's an aussie.   Makes sense now. ::)

It's in australia <sp>  so what, why does it mean they will favor lee.

Branch is a big freak w. mediocre aesthetics.

Lee is a medium freak w. excellent aesthetics.

IMO, Lee wins.

Classic size vs shape showdown.

Lee has no aesthetics. A midget with 21" arms and no chest or back looks like crap

Aesthetics mean nothing when it comes to winning...

I t wasn't racism, that was pure conspiracy.  In 2002, 2003, CC smoked Jay, pure and simple. Jay's structure is like that of a Fridgedaire, like he came from Sears. He had no back, and no flow. CC had better flow, more cuts, and was just as big. Plus CC smoke Jay in the back poses...no wonder CC alledgedly has rec. drug problem...You would too if you were a 6 time Arnold Classic runnerup (that is Guinness World Record)

Don't know how to take that comming from someone as brilliant at English as you.

I don't think Lee has a excellent aesthetic physique.  Its ok but it is more of a freak one.

Different from a mass monster freak physique though.

Branch will lose if he's not close to 100% conditioning.  Same situation as last year versus cormier.

if branch is off by a bit and lee is on, i think lee will win, bc his arms are his strongest point and that is branch's weakest, although branch is better in all other areas, except abs, but like i said, if lee is on and branch is off..

I am talking about how you use it not spell it you idiot.

I use proper English, and use it correctly.  How I spell is irrelevant, that's what spell check is for for when spelling matters.  On here, I could care less how my spelling is.
