Interested to hear what you all think about 'hyperandrogenic' female athletes... (oh, and she now has a wife)
The South African has made a return to form after the court of arbitration for sport overturned a rule created by the International Association of Athletics Federations which had forced athletes with naturally high levels of testosterone to take hormone-suppressing drugs.

Women's athletics is just about over. In the running events in the middle distances there were without a doubt men competing. If they test over in testosterone they should be kicked out. I see all these real women competing then I see the shemale in the race and I can predict the winner.
-
A perfect example of the "genetically elite". She/he was born intersexual. Still a woman. She has a big advantage but it's not something that should be banned or suppressed. Really it's an advantage at the Olympics but a disadvantage in life. Who would want to hit it? Male or female?

If she's a chick, let her race women. If she was born a dude and had her dick chopped off, then she is a he and shouldn't be racing women. I laughed at the shit Be There posted. What the fuck is sixth place crying for? Fourth would be the only person who could be a whiner but if this competitor is in fact a woman, then those are the rules and she should be racing.
There was a female pole vaulter from Germany in the 1936 olympics that turned out to be a dude years later. Bruce Jenner would be proud.
-
any race this thing enters women should not run in it. this would solve the problem real quick

That was funny. The 800 meters was like the transgender race. Tons of male looking females. Not even a touch of femininity to them. Straight up you would be shocked to find out they were females.

Depending on the lenght of her clitoris, she should be consider a man.

Dosent the olympic committee conduct gentler tests these days? Has this thing passed a one of these tests?

Dosent the olympic committee conduct gentler tests these days? Has this thing passed a one of these tests?
Yep - in a nutshell, after it all originally blew up (2008?), she had to undergo a physical. It found she had standard female equipment down there - but - instead of ovaries, she had internal testes in their place - hence the high endogenous T-levels (300%). She was then required to take T-suppression therapy to bring her back within range.
Now one would tend to think this is a once in century occurrence, right? Not so:
"At the London Olympics, four female athletes, all 18 to 21 years old and from rural areas of developing countries, were flagged for high levels of natural testosterone. Each of them subsequently had surgery to remove internal testes, which produce testosterone, as well as procedures that were not required for resuming competition: feminizing vaginoplasty, estrogen replacement therapy and a reduction in the size of the clitoris.*"
First of all, what are they putting in the f@#king water in those countries? I'm thinking of the 3-eyed fish from the Simpsons here.
*And secondly - Ouch!

Slim pickings in your village, I'll wager.

And look on the bright side - with internal testes rather than ovaries, it's highly unlikely you'd get her pregnant... ;)

(Epic self-bump of 3 year old thread, but not sure this warrants a new thread - apols if I'm wrong, mods)
Update from Wired.com https://www.wired.co.uk/article/caster-semenya-testosterone-ruling-gender-science-analysis (https://www.wired.co.uk/article/caster-semenya-testosterone-ruling-gender-science-analysis)
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected an appeal by South African middle-distance runner Caster Semenya against new athletics regulations that set an upper limit for testosterone in certain women’s events. From now on women who want to compete in international competitions at distances of between 400 meters and one mile will have to reduce their blood testosterone level to below five nanomoles per litre for at least six months before the event, and then keep it there. For Semenya, the double Olympic and triple World 800m champion, it is a crushing blow.
Lots more detail in the article, but the fact that no recent articles are mentioning is that this competitor doesn't just have high levels of testosterone - SHE HAS A SET OF FULLY-FUNCTIONING TESTICLES!! (albeit internal)

Surely this needs to come down to biology - i.e. your fixed-for-life XX and XY chromosomes - and not gender...?
UK Female swimmer Sharon Davies:
“Caster’s case highlights what happens if athletes born with male characteristics and a Y chromosome compete in female sport.
“If we are not careful then in 10 years all the records in men’s sport will be held by men and all the records in women’s sport will be held by women who carry a Y chromosome. I think we need to look into reclassifying things.”
She continued: “Maybe we have an XX female category and then a category for men and XY. We want sport to be inclusive and perhaps the way to do this is based on biology.”
