the place holds 9000 people, but they've handed out 15,000 tickets. The "feels like" temperature index says it'll get up to 98 degrees today, with only a 15% chance of thunderstorms. Dedicated people have been there under umbrellas since sunrise. it's still an hour drive from me, probably 2 hours with the insane traffic they're expecting. People are raffling off the free tickets. Crazy. I'll be at the gym then a beach run, no way I'm going to that side of town. They're diverting school and interstate traffic. No protesters yet.
Reminds me of when Palin came in 2008. Fever was even higher for her.

I wonder if obama will work to undermine the momentum of the Trump rally in SW Florida today, by announcing they caught the terr'ist, just as trump is taking the stage.
completely pull the networks from trump coverage... make trump's "obama is weak and cannot catch a bad guy" into an oops moment.
Trump is here to talk about security. it's a 55% mccain county, 58% romney. WOuld be a straight olbermann/bush/nexus move to announce we caught a bad guy just as trump speaks.

obama's reiterating that he's all over isis. Takes away a huge trump talking point today with "obama doesn't have the guts to go after this guy"
it might be int'l terr'ists. but it's irresponsible to just say that before we investigate. a president trump will lose credibility by saying things before they're investigated. He claimed that MH flight was terrorism, we still don't know.

Big lines to get in. ZERO protesting. NBC news at 12:10 pm saying only two people have attended with hopes of protesting, and were told to stand across the street, so they did. They're off-property where nobody can see them. Two people. lol.
IF the story is how bad the SW Florida protesters are, well, they sure happened after 12:10 pm. Cause there are two. and they're just sitting around way across the street outside of the parking lot.

Cool - they're stopping the main line - and have opened a 2nd line for veterans and their families to get in.
Once they hit 8000, nobody else is getting in. Light rain and some thunder now. Traffic backed up for miles.

haha i'm in the recliner watching all 6 protesters being interviewed. they're almost like caricatures of what you'd expect protesters to be.
I recognize some faces in the crowd as they pan, having lived here 20 years. Everyone facebooking it lol.

Germaine arena is packed with people. Trump is in the building dropping a deuce while they wait. People arriving at noon are being refused, only a few hundred not getting ni. They're showing maybe 150 people out front who couldn't get in. There was a huge fear of thousands being locked out. 8000 got it, and a few hundred refused. So it'll probably officially being 9000, maybe 10,000.
Will Trump claim 15 thousand?
