You are absolutely incorrect about my circumstances. Since mid-August I've lost just under 60lbs. My diet is pristine. My diet prior to diagnosis was clean. My training is pristine. My health is good and only improving. Recent blood work indicated all levels were excellent with the exception of a couple all impacted by sleep apnea....slightly elevated bp, slightly elevated cholesterol and crashed out testosterone. My testosterone was also crashed out because of a genetically inherited condition I wasn't aware of....urologist and internist confirmed this. I suffer from apnea because my airway is quite small....pulmonologist diagnosed this. Being a larger person can compound apnea in some cases, but that isn't a universal situation and certainly not to the extent that most believe it is. I've known 350lb to 400lb men that don't snore. Doctor told me he diagnosed an 85lb ballet dancer with sleep apnea and she had a small airway like me and she snored like a mack frickin truck (it shook the walls he told me)....cpap helped her tremendously. Most of you talk and don't know what you're saying.

It's not fun and can cause unexplained weight gain (did me), crashed out test (did me), bp irregularities (did me), increases in cholesterol (did me) and my diet was relatively clean despite all of this. I realize now after diagnosis that I have to live differently and tough it out for a while, but it's working. Sleep with cpap for one, restricted calorie diet, amped up cardio, solid weight training, good supplementation, etc....may also have to treat my test issue indefinitely....it's early on though in the process but good strides in a relatively short time.
