Title: Olympia - Where are the tickets?
Post by: onlyme on March 30, 2006, 08:28:03 PM
So far nothing about the Olympia.  Tickets were to go on sale and they haven't.  They say the show is at the Orleans yet nothing on the website and the no one at the Orleans Sales department knows anything about the show.

You IFBB supporter putting down PDI and the NOC yet your own BannerShow as of this date is not happening.  Could it be it got ousted from the Orleans like from the Mandalay Bay and they are scrambling to find another location.  Manion, IFBB and AMI sure do have their shit together

"Onlyme" started a thread earlier stating that the OIlympia tickets were not available from the Orleans Arena website. That thread looks like it's been deleted?

The tickets are available from their site http://www.orleansarena.com/event-schedule.html

No point. Unless I ripped into the company you'd accuse me of being a company man. If I say someting positive I'm biased!

why on earth would a thread by onlyme be deleted?

I don't know.
I know that you can delete a posting you make but can you start a thread and then delete it?
When I came on tonight I did a search for his thread but it was gome. I then looked at my postings and my reply had been deleted too.

Kevin Horton will be buying lunch for the 12,000 people he wagered that the NOC would never happen.

We'll be eating at Sparks Steak House.

And if you try skipping out on the bill, let's just say there will be a Paul Castellano doorman waiting ;)

Me pay the bill?

Heck no, I'm going to be sitting there with the "I told you so!" look on my face. InsiderZ will be handing over his quarter collection while he tries to figure out why the $50 4th Row Ticket he got from the tooth fairy couldn't get him into a "dark" theatre.  ;D

Only Me,

I am at a loss as to why you are saying that there is no information on the event nor tickets in the Orleans Arean site. All you have to do is look, at boom - there you go. Wow, it sure does seem that  Manion, IFBB and AMI sure do have their shit together.

http://orleansarena.com/event-schedule.html

The information is as follows:

Joe Weider’s 2006 Olympia Weekend
September 28 - October 1
Tickets: $10 for the Expo at the Convention Center
Mr. Olympia Judging, Fitness and Ms. Olympia Finals: $159.50, $133.25, $80.75, $54.50
Figure and Mr. Olympia Men’s Finals: $212.00, $159.50, $133.25, $107.00, $80.75, $54.50

Here is where to get tickets in case someone is too lazy to click the 'Get Tickets' button

Somethng strange is happening.
First the original thread gets deleted. I start a new one, now now those threads have been combined.

I spoke with Ron on the phone tonight.

He assured me there is no IFBB agenda here.

As long as something isn't a LIE, it stays.

So, any time a truth is deleted, inform him, he'll check, and if a mod screwed up, he'll spank them and put it back up.

Well - a thread never gets deleted, it gets moved to a special place where I check it out. Sometimes it is because there are a few posts that that hijack the thread, or someone posts some degogatory remarks or fuck it up. Later on, relevant topics ae merged together so you don't have the same issue in 4 threads over 3 pages. Makes the responses much easier to address. Hopefully that is understood.

I'm not asking you about the company, I've been asking you about the NY Post report and how AMI problems can effect on Olympia.

I've been asking you where you go the ticket but you won't answer!  ;D

From my perpsective I read nothing in your copy-paste from the NY Post that has me concerned over the future of the AMI/Weider magazines or the Olympia.

Well, from your prospective you have right to claim answers but you don't think you have duty to give any answer.
Thank you for your point of view.

I gave you an answer bit because it's not what you want to hear you ignore it.

Having spoken to Wayne for close to 2 hours on the phone tuday I also know the truth about your claim to have purchased a ticket. In fact he was able to set the record straight about your inside information.
