Title: Does VYO-TECH really sponsor a 14 year old kid?
Post by: ieffinhatecardio on April 01, 2006, 10:13:14 AM
Is this true? If so is it even legal for a company that produces supplements for adults to be paying a 14 year old to appear in it's ads? Is there a market consisting of 14 year olds that VYO-TECH wants to tap into?

If this is true it borders on pathetic. Does anyone at VYO-TECH have a conscience? The moral questions this sponsorship raises are vast. I hope this isn't true.

There is nothing wrong with sponsoring him. He is the one person they sponsor who actually doesn't do large amounts of drugs.

Protein is for adults-only?

Quick, take that steak and chicken away from that 14-year-old! He can have it back when he's 18.  >:(

Hahahahaha... ;D Sounds like he has bought into the bullshit about how deadly supplements are to teenagers  ::)

I searched on vyotech website and they do not sell proteins. only products like viraloid or pills like that to boost testosterone or burn fat.

maybe little hercule will endorse this product

Sounds like Shawn Ray found a product he could use after years of shutting down his body's own test production.

When was the last time VYO-TECH sold steak and chicken? Fantastic attempt at skewing the point but tragically it failed.

The question remains, why would a company that markets pills that supposedly help testosterone production sponsor a 14 year old kid?

I got 20 bucks that says VYO is on the phone with Shawn Ray right now, telling him to get on GB and delete this.

They monitor the boards all day long, and cry like b1tches everytime someone talks bad about the colorado pro.

steak, chicken, protein powder = same stuff.  Protein is protein, no matter where it comes from.

Fresh chicken and steak is not the same as protein powder. They're all sources of protein but there's a difference. Last I checked VYO-TECH sold many supplements 14 year olds shouldn't be taking.

This sponsorship is morally questionable at best.

Vyo-Tech doesn't sell protein powder.

only testosterone booster and fat burner

Well, the kid might need the testosterone booster if his natural production was shut off from juicing. The fat burner he doesn't need though.

Little hercules looks a lot less impressive now than he did when he was younger and his dad was feeding him winny

I mean if he is 14 thats really not impressive

I have seen 14 year oold swimmers and wrestlers in better shape with much more muscle

As far as sponsorship who cares who they sponsor?

You see nothing wrong with a company that makes testosterone boosters and fat burners giving money to a 14 year old kid to sponsor their products?

It's not like the kid is endorsing sandwiches at Subway, VYO-TECH makes pills that kids shouldn't be taking.

It's not like the kid is sponsoring sandwiches at Subway . . .

I'm surprised that a supplement company hasn't picked up Jared (from Subway fame) to endorse its products. Jared got himself into awesome shape and i'm sure that a supplement company could really benefit from Jared's look of lean ripped mass.
Title: Re: Does VYO-TECH really sponsor a 14 year old kid?

They make pills that nobody should be taking, because they don't do shit.

As a result, age is irrelevant. A 14-year-old promoting snake oil is no worse than a 32-year-old promoting snake oil.

This logic is just astounding, I'm just guessing here but I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're not particularly intelligent. I could be wrong though.

Yes you're right, it's not logical to think a 14 year old shouldn't be endorsing pills that are supposed to help produce testosterone and help burn fat. Yep, no logic in that.

And as I asked at the beginning, is VYO-TECH really sponsoring them, I don't know one way or the other. I'm going on the assumption that they are but they might not be.

i agree...next you will see 14 year old girls promoting breast enlargement pills in playboy...Its a f cked up world to think that any child should be endorsing pills ect...Just what is the target audience they are trying to reach with a child...Just comes off strange to me...But most of these supplement companies sold their souls along time ago...

You mean he is going to do a guest posing routine onstage  ???

I just wanted to say that Vyotech makes amazing supplements. I can't believe I'm even saying this because I have never endorsed any product before, but Vyotech is different than every other supplement company. The guys at Vyotech are regular gym-goers , just like us. Forget about fancy "university studies" that are fabricated by the companies that commission them, Vyotech supplements have to pass the gym test.  Only if they work on real people will they ever see the light of day. You can trust Vyotech.

 Here's my take:

Vyo-TECH is desperate to use this kid, because they signed him for some contract. So they'll put down the pimp hand and get Sandrak in the show.

IMO, Vyo-TECH should cut their losses, and pay Sandrak whatever they've promised, but avoid using him in marketing, hiring him in the first place was a fcuk up of course. The kid is a journalistic story waiting to happen. What would happen if someone would measure the hormone levels of this kid? Interview the kid sister? The mother (she seems like a fcuking nutcase).

Sandrak is tragic. As someone pointed out, he doesn't have a very beefed physique for being 14 years old. There are other 14 years old that are more muscular.

This controversial little person getting to perform in Shawn's show... I think Shawn could've thought of better scenarios.

Why not just bring in some former pro sports stars or shit like that for a BBQ-with-the-fans? Breakfast-with-the-fans? Having interactivity throughout an expo will make it interesting for both booths and crowd.

Making sure the schedule won't interfere with the competition is what counts of course.

To be honest...

I stopped follow the Titus-Ryan case closely when the tape wasn't getting online.

Here's another brilliant idea:

How about you arrange bus caravans from the San Fransciso Area?

Complete with hotel accommodations and shit.

Webcam with your buddy Sean Allen could be an extra $12.

Glad to help.
