Saw it. I'd give 7 - 7.5 stars out of ten. Not really historically accurate in terms of chronologically how the Duran fight came up, and a bit too fast in places, but a nice traditional boxing movie without too many surprises. Though Eckhart was the standout in a very good cast,

Good acting. Is there a book about Vinny? If so, I'd like to read it. I sensed​they glossed over some things due to time in the movie

Yes, while not officially the source material for the film, Pazienza's biography was called "Fight or Die". It came out about 5 years ago, you can read bits of it here and it's still cheap on Amazon for the paperback -
