On April 15th in New York City, the IFBB Pro Masters World Championship will be held, along with the New York Pro Fitness event. The Pro Masters will have an Over 40, Best Over 50, and Best over 60. There is also an NPC New York Metroplitan even going on.
Well - I predict that Claude Groulx will win the Master's World and show everyone that he is back in the game!

HAhah!! please bro don't waste our time with sensless 240 style posts.. Claude looked good 5 years ago, he's arms have faded away to much, what there like 15'' now ::) Bob will win, and if Gary competes he will place 2nd..

This is indicative of the fact that you can read, if nothing else.
It's been posted on other boards that Claude is @ 230lbs, up 15 lbs from his masters Olympia win and is as " hard as nails." It has also been reported that Charles Glass has said Claude is at an all time best and will be very hard to beat.

I dont think Groulx has much to worry about in regards of conditioning. In that respect he is one of the best in the business. All the best to him. It's his oppurtunity of sorts to defend his Masters Olympia Title

His body looks past it now! fair enough his conditioning is fantastic but his arms are absolutely dreadful! does anyone know if he's ever tore his biceps? they look worse than Yates

Does it matter? How many Os did Dorian win with half an arm? Conditioning is what the judges are looking for and based on his Masters O win, he'll be shredded when most of the other geriatrics will be just happy getting through their diet and standing on stage for the last time

Yes, I'm afraid it does matter, if conditioning was all it took then Clarence Bass would have been a multiple Mr O winner ;)

Obviously you need more than conditioning alone but you don't need the best arms

He always had trouble with his posing. I remember back in the late 80's when I was at the European Championships we all were amazed at his condition but lacked presentation. He was a hard worker though and paid his dues. He is a good man too.

Here's Claude's competition plans for this year. I saw him in Charlotte at the Masters O in 2003 & he was awesome. People laughed when he came onstage in the evening show. Not laughing AT him, laughing that anyone else thought they could win the show. He blew everyone away.
The Masters Pro show winner will qualify for the Mr. Olympia this year, so if Claude wins that, he's in.
