Warrior was a one of a kind and one of the few to have one of the best physiques in the business.

Cool pic of a kid with his hero, but how was he "the greatest ever?"

Had a great comic book gimmick, but what about his skills in the ring and on the mic?

to this kid, he was awesome in the ring and awesome on the mic.

a lot of people that bash him now weren't even alive when he was gaining momentum.

just look at this:

look at that crowd reaction. everyone in that arena thinks he was the greatest ever and probably still do.

I was there for the Warrior's rise, as it occurred during the era when I was a wrestling fan ... '85-'90 in the WWF.  During those 6 years, I attended shows at Maple Leaf Gardens, Exhibition Stadium, Copps Coliseum and Skydome.  I'm just one fan but I preferred matches featuring Savage or Roberts or Steamboat or Piper or Rude or The Bulldogs or The Hart Foundation ... (but i'm a little older than you and so maybe that explains our different faves back in those glory days.)

To be honest the bashing was just that...bashing. Happens to people all the time. Look at Hogan...he made wrestling and put it on the map no matter what people have to say and its been one bash after another.
