This did not surprise me.

When I was at the show the women (who were not bodybuilding enthusiasts) thought he should have won because they thought he was the hottest.

He’s great! So many humble hard workers getting recognized. It’s refreshing to watch!

And the way it was going nobody knew what the judges were looking for since there is no clear judging criteria.

well he didn't actually say all of them, but he did say better than Mr. Levrone so that's almost everybody considering he won 20 shows, placed 2nd at the olympia 4 times, and beat all of them except dorian

But the front lat spread, his lats are just high and his waist looks wide in the shot plus his arms just look to big in comparison when compared to the new champ and his mix of more balanced mass and shape.

Bodybuilding is subjective. IMO, Levrone was good but overrated.

Women aren't good judges of appearance. After all, they date men, and most men are average to ugly, particularly after their mid-30s when their hair goes down the shower drain and their double chins gain an extra floor. I'd much less trust their judgment on symmetry, proportions, conditioning, muscularity, tan quality, dryness, separations, posing, or anything and everything pertaining to musclemen showing off what god and pharmacies gave them.

But god forbid you point any of this out in casual conversation. You're sure to go home alone that night.
