How is he actually making what looks like a comfortable lifestyle???
-
Actually, I think that's the ideal look. Not massive or shredded but just robust, muscular, and healthy. Good for him. Where does he live? Great view. Sucks that the pool is like a narrow rectangle.
Kind of lame wearing a cowboy hat in a pool but he looks like he's doing OK.

He’s an expert in finance.

I've seen a video in which Callum shows the Malibu fire damage within the vicinity of his backyard (but no apparent fire damage to his abode) and his efforts to provide feed for the surviving animals.
That area of Southern California is among the most expensive in the state but that fire did some immense damage.
Some Malibu residents feel that it will never return to the way in which it used to be.
We drove through the area from Ventura freeway to the coast (101) along Malibu Creek Road(?) and it was similar to driving through a cooled down version of hell.
Cullum was very lucky!

It might be a wave or endless pool.

id love to see him at nationals in vegas in 7 months - i want to compete against him again. i doubt he will be on stage that soon tho...
-
TACO, If I recall right, you competed against him in Culver City which I think you mentioned that he won.
How did you do against him and what are your chances of placing higher han himaot the "O" this year?
You should start a topic regarding your training for the "O.
I think that all the GetBiggers woud back ya 100%.

1. yea in culver city - he smoked me and everyone else.
1a. he could have been top 3 in Mr Olympia in mens classic before his many injuries
2. I got Vegas Nationals to get my pro card before the Mr 0 - :)
good idea man - might start a thread. my official prep starts March 1st - i train heavy duty, at a solid gym, good coach, low carb diet, lots of posing/hot yoga, date a figure girl who is super supportive
3. I have a great shot at my pro card in Mens classic tall class. most dudes over 6'2'' dont look that good and I have so much older natural muscle built up over years. i just gotta nail the conditioning and I will win it. i gotta get my hamstrings and glutes dialed in. mens classic is now all about being the most conditioned guy on stage

I have a great frame - just need to harden it up - which isnt that hard. it is just work/will power - you cannot fix structure or muscle bellies which i have. (thank you dad)

You look good bro.
You ever hear of Wings of Iron in the Mesa/Tempe area? Is that a legit bodybuilding gym or is it something else (I drove by it the other day)?
-
thank you
I have not heard of it -
i train at Independence gym in scottsdale - def a gym - good ecosystem - tons of hotties there fitness girls and bartender types - a bit douchy too -
and i will train at metroflex in North Phoenix, - a true "hard core" gym - industrial area - good place to make some gains - ex military and a bit of an urban feel to it
and a 2 yoga studios i rotate with in Scottsdale - if i would ever do anything in the "fitness world" it would be a hot yoga program for bbers, mesomorphs, rugby players and football players - biggest game changer in my body/mind ever. 10x better than any cookie cutter bber routine ppl waste time doing. it is the biggest game changer if you bigger/thicker dude
ecosystem is huge - you gotta be in a good set up (not so much the equipment) but the mindset. I have a membership to LA fitness too where i do cardio, chat, do calves and abs etc but it is really a far cry from a gym - nice healthclub for the money - but not a "gym" for someone to make gains. you can... but why swim upstream? go with the flow and sign up at a bber or even better a powerlifter style gym
I love Metroflex in tyler tx - prolly my favorite gym - more of a powerlifter gym - i think branch warren might be an owner or his wife owns it? i dunno
also a lifter - chatting about gyms is like golfers talking about golf courses - love it ;D ;D

When you say "Heavy Duty" can you give a rundown of a typical training schedule? How many days a week? How long? How many sets per exercise? How many exercises per muscle group? What kind of intensity variables you use? How you break up your muscle groups?
I know that's a lot but I am really interested in those that do HIT. Like what would be a typical chest workout. A lot of people think it's complete bunk but you are living proof that it works if done correctly.
I had no idea you were at such an advanced level. Good for you.

never did i expect to see this, photos from someone not only training, but competing, on getbig ??? :o

What Column will Moger be in now?

TACO, That BODYBUILDING/YOGA combo seems to be unique now-a-days, but many years ago there was a guy by the name of WALT BAPTISTE who was the one and only Yoga instrutor that we were aware of in the Bay Area (San Francisco) who owned a successful Yoga/Bodybuilding studio which I believe closed down when he passed away ....
But .... I about 12 years ago I ran into Walt's beautiful daughter who I believe is now one of the prime Yoga intructors within the Yoga industry.
Is any of the above familiar to you?
When and where is the Nv Nationals? ... and I encourage you to start your own contest prep topic... A lot of GetBiggers already seem to be interested.
If you need any LV info for your contest, let me know. I am a walking, talking know it all when it comes to this Sin City that most GetBiggers love to hate .... just as some seem to do with Callum.
Or is it Cullum?
And it's great to see someone who actually met Callum have decent things to say about him. I got no right but ... I thank ya on his behalf.

I believe in intensity to make solid gains, typically 6 months a year when i am competing i hire a trainer to work on posing and training. I hire a trainer for accountability and up the intensity. i pay him to make me push myself. so i really follow what he has me do. work outs are an hour long. and i do 1 bodypart in that hour and train with 1-2 other contest guys at the same
Monday - chest
tuesday - legs (some hammys)
wed -shoulders
th - back (some hammys)
friday - arms (bicep triceps and forarms)
saturday - posing and lagging body part day
abs every day
calves 1x per week
so no fancy chest split or anything - making bbing gaines in the gym (is all about moving heavy ass weights) it is hard to do it solo - a legit training partner is hard to find - very hard to find so i pay a coach to help me push iron. again nothing fancy - just free weights + machines for the last 2 exercises
i highly recommend everyone get a trainer every so often
i come from the golf world where everyone has a swing coach. so i look at a trainer like that
i will be back with my trainer March 1st

Calum - completed against him and been around him. i frequent Venice often - he is a good dude. a nice guy - wild aussie for sure. no need for all the haters - from a small farm town and very down to earth -
i dont know the guy you mentioned via hot yoga - but hot yoga is a game changer -
1. burn 500 calories
2. mental toughness
3. hot rooms are for your body
4. tons of hot chics in the classes
5. tons of core work
6. you are in front of the mirror with no shirt on for 90 minutes - so you stop being fat real quick
7. sharps and tones you up nice
again if i ever did anything fitness related protocol it would be for bigger dudes to do hot yoga 5x a week and get healthy again
july 28th is NPC nationals - not sure where in vegas -
i might do a prep thread - if so i will start it in May or so when i am getting closer.
-
TACO, Thanks for the response.
I agree withh ya totally that Callum is a great individual,
And it's possible that those who accuse him and others about doing gay foy pay stuff ... are simply"'wishful thinkers"!

That's an interesting perspective and solid advice when looking at it in those terms.

Taco despite posting pictures, etc I expect Royalty still thinks you are Danimal77?? Wonder if he will be big enough to apologise for false accusing you and the others he was wrong about?

Royalty has become extremely paranoid the last few months.

yep - everyone has a swing coach in golf. mine was an old angry drunk lol (RIP tony dish) but he was on me like flies on shit to improve.
I totally recommend someone to get a trainer for 6 months
you will eat better, train harder make some serious gains due to accountability- even if you are a seasoned lifter
bbers always think "why do i need to pay someone to teach me how to train?" that is not how i look at it. I pay for good form yes but I pay him to bring the intensity. a bber cannot simply bring the heat all the time and a training partner so hard to find.
my workouts are high intensity 50-60 minute sessions - 8 reps etc, free weights. same shit everyone else does just with a coach you bring the heat.
also coaches arent too expensive - if you dont like it - then end the relationship - but try it out - and my coach does the same chest workouts everyone else does - but the intensity is cranked up

Bob Paris' posing routine here is right on...'straight' forward and short. It's remarkable how good his physique was then and still is today.

that routine is pretty simple but so impressive
also it is so hard to create a routine - you have enough going on with prep -
find a routine you like - mirror it and repeat it 10000 times.

Good advice. At this stage of the game, I'm not about need a posing routine. My ego is too big for me to step on the competition stage at my age no matter my condition. ;D
